Mickey Mile

I just registered my kids for this race. Can anyone who has had their kids do it give me some feedback? What is the timeframe?

We are flying in late Thursday night. I am running the half and will need to pick up my packet on Friday anyway, so we figured this would be fun for them. How early should I plan on getting to the Expo?

Depending on how long you plan on staying at the Expo would determine how far in advance you need to get there. Last year they moved the kids' packets out to the track on Friday. We picked up their packets maybe 30-45 minutes before the race and had plenty of time. Here is a link to my write up of the Mickey Mile in my trip report.

Thanks for sharing! THat was exactly what I was looking for! Your kids looked like they had a great time! I hope mine do too. They are 5 and 6 and are always talking about racing in Disney World like mommy when they are older. I cannot wait to surprise them with this!

I don't plan on spending a whole lot of time at the Expo. I just want to get my packet, do the kids race, and get onto enjoying the park since we are just there for 3 days.
