Mickey Mart - Everything 10 Dollars & Under

This store does have some discounted merchandise, but it is mostly a collection of stuff you can get elsewhere at Disney, just that it fits the $10 and under description. So it's a good place to go if you don't want anything over $10, but not everything is a discount.

When we were there in July 2008 there was not a grab bag to be found. It sounds like this store may be open as merchandise is available?

I like going through there too. Alot of the time it contains stuff that I would sonsider as "junk" around my house but sometimes there are some good things. One year we got Disney coffee mugs that were 3/$10. It was a great deal!

Well, I am becoming doubtful that the store may be open when I go or there may not be a lot to choose from.:sad1:

I'll be so sad if it's not! I'm not sure why, but I'm really looking forward to making this store a part of my trip. I read it in someone's trip report that they went to this store and I'd never heard of it before, and like any true bargain hunter, I was instantly intrigued to see this place!

That sounds like a really good deal. I have been asked to pick someone up a mug while I'm there, and that price is right up my alley for souveniers.

We love this store. Every year my daughter has to buy a grab bag there. We were just there in December and she got a sparkly Tink note pad, A Tink pen, a Mickey santa atenna topper, a Mickey santa "plush" key chain, a 2008 liquid drink glass, a package of stickers and a Mickey mouse flip phone that talks and dials.

The prices were still on the items and when I added my daughters bag up it was over $30.00 of merchandise inside.

I'm hoping that this store will be there the end of November or my daughter will be sad.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

We were there the last week of January and they were open. We love checking it out and always get a gift bag or two, if they have them.

Typically, other than the gift bags, the stuff that they offer is the the same items as are in the other stores (those items that are less than ten dollars, anyway). On this trip, however, they had a bunch of marked down stuff, as well.

Can you use Disney dollars to pay?
Sounds like it might be a good place to bring our 6 yr old DGS for using his Disney Dollars...

and indeed, the store was open for business. I did see the grab bags, and they had plenty of them. This store is "shoehorned" in between two stores, no door in; it's like an alleyway. I guess Disney saw an opportunity to use this space with skirting ADA guidelines. Each time I went in there, it was like a cattle call: shoving room only. They had the doors open going into Pooh Corner. As others have stated, most of the items can be purchased at other locations. There are a few items I found discounted; but again, if you look, you can find those discounted at other locations as well. I had the time, so I took my time to look at tags and items. Disney must have a system set up where all locations tie in...so if you find an item at the MK on sale for 3.99, it will be on sale at the WL for 3.99. I wouldn't bet the farm on it, but I did find a hat on sale and it was marked the same price at 3 other locations.

Fingers crossed! For sure! It would be worth going if for no other reason than the grab bags.

Also, congratulations on the pregnancy! Sounds like some of that "Disney Magic" in play!

It was open for our trip at the beginning of Dec but they were out of grab bags :(

In the past I have gotten AWESOME things in them including
Autograph book with pen, Disney cars, atenna characters, pin trading pins, candy, stickers, stuffed toys and lot of other stuff I can't remember!

So glad to hear it's still (probably) open.

We love it there, the last couple trips we have gotten great things at the 4/$10 area. In 2008 we got coffee mugs that were old, but from 2006 when we had been there. They were great so we got 8 of them. My kids also got one year the round ball type character bean bag things, they love them.

I also have gotten them the grab bags the last 2 trips to open in the car on the way home, last trip they also bought one on their own beccause they liked them so much the trip before. Wish they had opened them before the ride home though, they were full of great things and I wish I had bought them for some gifts.

I love it there, some are deals, some are regular price but it is nice to know everyong you pick up will be under $10.
