I was wondering if anyone who has used Fairytale Dreams and Dreams have received Mickey Mail. The last 2 times we went we received nothing but DME tags but I'm just wondering if that was because we had gone through Trip Central.

Probaly the reason, any time we booked directly with Disney we get Mickey mail any time we have used a TA we have not gotten it.

When you book a package through Disney you get two separate mailings. One is an Magical Express package with tyvek luggage tags that direct your bags to the right resort and a booklet with your Magical Express information and vouchers. The second and separate mailing comes from Disney and if I recall correctly it includes a booklet with your hotel reservation info and useful information, vouchers for things like one free round of mini golf, and a spa discount etc etc. Also included in that package would be whatever hard plastic luggage tags they are using that year. Those have the space on them to write your name and phone number etc in case your bags are lost. They are really just a cute decorative item.

Hope that helps.
It must be that you booked through a TA that they don't send that additional info, presumably because your TA should provide you with all of that.

Yeah, the Mickey Mail packages go to the TA and they distribute them to their clients. We always get both the Disney booklet package and Magical Express package at the same time, usually 2-3 weeks before departure.

Pigletto, we received all these things on our last TA booked WDW adventure. It may be your experience or case that you did not - but I don't believe that's the case across the board :)

Sorry my wording was a little confusing. I got them from my TA the one time I used one as well. Was just speculating that the TA must have it to give to the OP.

*whew* I'm just relieved that I'm not the only one who didn't know what 'Mickey Mail' is. :lmao:

FYI, they are called 'Magcial Extras' by Disney:

OP - provided your vacation is booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company (not a tour operator), regardless if it was booked through a TA or not, you will absolutely received the voucher booklet you are inquiring about. :)

Just remember the mail will only come if you have booked a package vacation. Room only does not get the mail

Magical Express will only come if you have booked transfer service with them

For 3 or 4 years I booked with CAA, and they were the ones sending the ''Magical Mail''
