Mickey Mail

[Cant wait for Disney]

I have seen people mention "Mickey Mail" a couple times. I think somewhere around the 35 days til vacation mark? I am wondering what mickey mail is?! I dont know whether to be expecting it or not. Thanks for any help!!

About 30-40 days prior to your trip, you will receive two separate mailings from Disney. The first mailing will be Magical Express luggage tags/info. (if you're using ME). Then a few days later you should get your travel docs from Disney, which will essentially contain all the vital info about your trip like your travel dates, resort hotel, type of tickets purchased, etc.

I got my luggage tags and magical express stuff, but nothing else yet.

GOt my Mickey Mail (travel docs, luggage tags, arcade card, etc) around 27 days out, so you all should be receiving them soon I did a happy dance at the mailbox when I saw it, and yes, I was stalking the mailbox for a week My ME tags came on a Saturday and my Mickey Mail came a week after that following Monday.

Do you still get the Mickey Mail if you booked Disney trip thru AAA.

I know AAA booked thru Disney as my ressie shows up on WDW site

Yes, you should still get Mickey Mail, but it goes to your AAA travel agent first & then AAA is supposed to forward it to you. If you get to the 25 day mark prior to your trip & have not received anything, I would contact AAA because I have seen past threads from other DISers where AAA had their Mickey Mail just sitting on their desk & hadn't sent it out yet.

My mail just came today! I am about 26days out from our trip.

I am so glad it came today and not this past weekend as my kids would have seen it - they are still in school, and my secret is still safe,,, kids don't know we are headed to Disney in a few weeks!

It did take a week for my mail to get here, according to the postmark.
