Mickey Mail Never Showed Up

As some of you may recall 2 weeks before the holiday my Mickey Mail never turned up, since I was going to Florida 10 days before my Disney stay I called the “UK dept.” And they promised that my Mickey Mail for both our parties would be redirected to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and be available on check-in, they even called and confirmed that was happening.

This looks like it never happened as no one in the hotel has any clue what happened, however it did get a bit comical when Walt Disney World said I never booked via them, I booked via a Travel Agent and they can’t help. The travel agent was “Walt Disney Travel Company”, I said this is total nonsense and you need to call back until you get someone that understands Walt Disney Travel Company in the UK is who people in the UK book via when they are on the Official Walt Disney website.

So I am now in a limbo land of no one is taking responsibility and no real idea what to do now, only thing I am being told is you can check back tomorrow and see if the gift cards and vouchers have turned up then.

Anyone got a helpful suggestion as to how to proceed?
 
Do you have a print put with WdW Travel Company on it you can show to people/fax them? Sorry if you've already done this.....

Yes have that and one of the managers at the hotel agreed that it was just a case so someone just jumping the gun and thinking we must have booked via Virgin or something. He also said that they are working on improving the systems so finally UK guests booking on the Walt Disney Website will have that same experience as the US folk but still a wee while off.

Thanks, will give it until Tuesday and try again. What's missing in this case is no one from the Hotel wants to step and say they will take ownership of the issue until it's resolved, still it's only a minor issue in the grand scheme of things ;-)
 
Still not resolved, mail never turned up from the reservations folk, so have to try again on Wednesday and if it's not fixed by then, they will comp our rooms $100 each for the gift cards and also anything we buy that should have had a discount voucher for they will credit the discount back also, so I guess that's it almost sorted.

One thing they had an issue with sorting was the vouchers for the preferred viewing fireworks at Epcot as they don't have these but have instead "VIPed" us for the Fireworks and just need to go with the code to guest services at Epcot who will sort that.

I know mistakes happen, it how they are dealt with that is important.
