Mickey Loves Us Seniors Too

Just a little information I would like to pass along for us kids that are a little older.....Birnbaum puts out a great book called "Disneyworld without the kids". It is full of great information on things we enjoy, little hide-aways, special attractions geared for us gray-haired kids. It is only $14.00 and at any book store.
How many of us seniors are going to visit Mickey soon? Hubby and I and our poodle get to Fort Wilderness May 1st thru May 11 th and can't wait. We already made reservations for Hoop-de-doo, Mickey's BBQ, Brown Derby (by the way you get preferred seating for Fantasmic if you dine here-FREE), and dinner at the Castle. Thanks for the info about the book...although hubby and I are not quite to the senior age yet...I guarantee we'll still be going to WDW when we are! Hubby proposed to me in Jan 97 at WDW. Our last day there we met the nicest senior couple who offered to take our picture. They said that had been coming to Disney for 25 years together. They were walking hand in hand just like we were. I aspire to be just like them 20 years from now!

We'll be there in Oct for our 10 year anniversary (and without the kids...oh yeah!). We plan on finding some of those quiet spots. Thanks so much for the information on the book!

Another great tool for everyone, not just us seniors, is an E-book called "The Ultimate Disney World Savings guide". It has alot of great information and ways to save some money. You can purchase it on the internet for about $20.00 and you download the book. You can get updates, forever.....

We used that book before the child came along and it was fantastic. Thumbs up on buying that one! It is well worth the money (even if we can't use it any longer... )
