When we were camping at Christmas, a few people had a lamp post at their camp site that was black with a white mickey head for the lamp. Very cool, anyone see these or know where they came from.
I love those!! The lamps were everywhere at Christmas. Now that the popup is home, it's time to start thinking about decorating the site! I want a Mickey lamp post!
you can make those light post yourself.
buy a cheap lamp post, get a large solid white globe then you need to get two smaller globes. Now you need to silicone the smaller globes on the large
one. then you have a mickey lamp post.
They could have been homemade because i can't seem to find them anywhere. I should have asked but you know i hate to bother people when they are relaxing but in hindsight i wish i asked when i was walking by. Anybody with a mickey lamppost has to be friendly!
They are homemade lights, we've talked to quite a few of the people who have them. They are real cute, i'd like to have one too. We just need to get to Lowes!!!
Headin to FW on the 16th for one week!!!! wooohhoooooo!!!!
Do you know if they made them the same way the above poster said to do it? I really want one of those! I always feel like our site is too dark at night to see to let the dogs out.

We looked for the our original post but could not find it, glad someone else could. here are the pic's to go with the instructions. if you have any questions I'll try and answer them
I only found it because I have it bookmarked to try before my next trip. My only planned modification would be to add a small PVC through the large on that gives it little arms so that we have someplace to hang our wood family sign from. I am worried about the weight being off-center then so we'll have to see what we come up with -- maybe 2 signs to balance it?
I was at Home depot and got all the supplies and on a whim I went over to the out door department and bought a light pole with the day/night dimmer combination. After buying the fixtures and stands and globes it came out to roughly $70, which includes the little attatchment pole to hang our sign. Yeah, I know I took the easy way out but those Ears make me do crazy things! lol
Anyway, thanks everyone, that was fun, I'll post some photos when finished.
