Before Easter the Trading Post had pastel colored mickey lights. I almost bought them but decided to wait because I really wanted primary colors or maybe red/white/blue. Does anyone know if the Trading Post has them in now that the 4th is approaching?

Look on ebay. I have found many mickey head lights there. They have some that are supposed to be for hanukkah that are a pretty blue. Good luck.

Last March they had 2 sets of the primary so DH bought them but he needed 2 more sets so off to DTD to the Christmas store there. They had plenty of the primary ones. Also, I think if you go to the very back of the store where they do the custom ornaments, there used to be several shelves divided by themes and I remember a while back there was a patriotic section.

Oh yeah, not sure why I didnt think of the Christmas store at DTD! I saw the patriotic ones on ebay, but they are only selling one set. I'm looking for at least 3-4 sets. Or perhaps I'm looking for an excuse (no matter how small) to make it down to Disney this summer! ;)

They did have the Patriotic ones at the Trading Post a few weeks ago. Not sure if the still have them.

I looked and noticed that they did have them on ebay. They are sold in a pack of 10. Does anyone know how far that would stretch on a 10 by 10 easy up? I wasn't sure how much wire is in between each light? How many packs do you think we will need?

I'll check the length this weekend if someone else doesn't chime in sooner. DH's biggest complaint was that there was only one plug on one end (the male plug) so you couldn't string them together.

uh-oh, i didn't realize that you couldn't string them together! :sad1:

you can't string them together and if they are left on your awning during a rain storn water gets into them and kills the lights....not water tight...should be labeled indoor use only!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a string of Mickey head lights at the Christmas store in the Magic Kingdom just into Liberty Square on the left from the Circle in front of the Castle. They are indoor/outdoor. I clip them to the awning of my pop-up with clothspins and run an extension cord to plug. They look great!:thumbsup2

I bought a set of red white and blue ones, they don't string together and they are not the sturdiest, but they are CUTE!! 14.95 at the Meadows Trading Post. :thumbsup2

:hippie:
