This past weekend, I parked in Pinocchio ('cause I got there so early), and this let me see a little more of what is going on at the Mickey & Friends parking structure. In the morning, I walked to Disneyland through Downtown Disney, so I was able to see the areas they have blocked off
The area where they 'store' the trams has always been inaccessible, and the area to walk along the wall for the tramway to get to the walkway to Downtown Disney is also now blocked off. We now are directed to a new crosswalk, in through the first level of the Mickey & Friends structure, and out the next exit.

These are pics I took at Downtown Disney of the blocked off areas:

Christmas trees in front of AMC

Blocked off area where the Christmas village normally would be. No ice skating rink this year.

LEAVING TRAM SECTION to go to Pinocchio parking.
Redirected through the parking structure - you can see it's open to the uncovered area. Leads me to believe that this will be the new preferred parking area. It's too big for just security, and has nothing to do with the trams. So, the tram section is in the back, and I walked along the fence. I am about to leave the structure, and took these pictures through the fence.

Turning around where I was standing I snapped these. There is no tram access from here - you'll be walking either to Pinocchio or Downtown Disney/hotels.
