Hi Ladies! I know some of you have gotten Mickey ears for your guest but when I was just at Disney I saw they were $13 each... :scared1: ! I thought they like...$6:confused3 . Is there any place to get them cheaper? Also I had been planning to embroider each guest's name on them... my mom said this used to be included when you bought the ears but I don't think that's the case anymore:sad2: Anyone know for sure? Thanks!

:scared1: I'm planning on doing this too...but I thought they were $7 and and extra dollar to embroider. $13 is a bit steep. We are having them b/c DF's mom always wanted a pair and it was one of those things her parents never bought her :rotfl: I'm trying to give her a little pixie dust here...good thing -at the most-there will only be 8 guests. Oh well.

I had the Mickey ears for favors and place cards. They were $9.95 each and I had Disney floral embroider them for $8 each. It can get pretty pricey depending on how many guests you have. I had 37 guests and they all loved them.

You can probably take them to MK and have them embroidered there for $2 a hat, but it can take a very long time depending on how many hats you have. I just had Disney Floral do it because you can choose from different colored threads and fonts. I think MK only has one font and 2 or 3 colors of thread to choose from.

Gulp! Ok so how do I sell mom and dad on that one! Rack another thing up for my Disney Wedding Fund! (I'll post a pic of that in my PJ...it's a water cooler jug-decorated!)

We got our ear hats at Disneyland because they're cheaper there (at the time, they were $7 - I think they may have gone up a few bucks) and the embroidery is free there.

You might look into calling Disneyland DeliverEars, the park's shipping service, and see what prices they quote you - it's gotta be less than the WDW Florist charges! 800-362-4533

You rock! :cool1:

The regular black Mickey Ears at WDW are $8.95 plus $8 for embroidery.

Hmmm... I was just there and they were 12.95 or 12.99... I wonder why the price jumped so much... oh well. I'll try calling Disneyland... thanks LurkyLoo! If I get them from there will they say Disneyland on them or if they're exactly the same as the WDW ones?

They will say Disneyland on them. But for us, it was kinda cool to have our "hometown" mouse ears at our Disney World wedding.... ;)
