I was thinking of making an ADR for Mickey's BBQ but I am nervous about cancelation with bad weather. Thoughts? We are already doing Chef Mickey for character breakfast but I wanted a dinner character dining too. We are into Cinderella now but my daughter will only be 2 and im up in the air about booking it for my son who is 4. More thoughts?? :)

How is your son with a less structured interaction with the characters? The characters do not come to you, your child goes to them and can dance with them. My DGD was totally overwhelmed by the experience and it truly is the only meal I wish I had not not booked. In 6 years.

If your son will enjoy a dance party atmosphere this may be a fun way for him to interact with some characters. If he is not that kid perhaps a different experience would make better sense.

When are you going? We did the BBQ once in August and it was miserably hot, we will never do that again!
Which chacters does your son like? There are a lot of other character dining options.

We are going in April. He likes Mickey and gang and chip and Dale. We also have been watching Cinderella.
