:mickeybar I was at Wal-Mart tonight and found Mickey bars in the freezer section. Are these the same as the ones at the park? Just thought it would be great to have some in the freezer as a treat when we get back home! :mickeybar

Sorry to say they are no where like a real Mickey Bar! I bought some, they are okay, nothing special. The closest thing I have come to that tastes like a Mickey Bar is a Dove Ice Cream Bar. My kids like the Wal Mart Mickey bars but said they sure weren't as good as the real thing!

I'm going to have to look for them at my Wal Mart :goodvibes

does any one know who makes the real ones? they do taste like dove bars to me but i just saw a show about dove and the never mentioned it if they do

Even if they aren't the real thing my kids will love them! Hmmm I will check tomorrow! :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

Our local food stores carry them as well and the Incredibles, Nemo and mickey star, moon and something else as a popsicle though. They are pretty small but perfect for the kids.

This may only be here in Orlando, but my Walmart carries Mickey shaped cheese slices. They are about 2 inches in shape, and are perfect for a cracker.

OT - but our super walmart carries different disney charactar sugar cookies w/colored sugar sprinkles & dark chocolate dipped backs. Prepacked around $4 in bakery section.yummm.

they throw in a temporary disney tatoo too!

I saw Mickey bars at my local Hannaford last night. They are not chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bars, but rather the ears part is chocolate ice cream and the rest of the face is vanilla ice cream.

It can not be the real thing unless you are eating it in the Magic Kingdom or one of the other parks :cool1: :sunny:

Terk- If I remember correctly, didn't the mickey bars at DW used to be like this??? I remember chocolate ice cream in mickey bars...in the ear portion. This was years ago..as a child. :confused3

i think so too although i was already past the child stage ;)
and unless i am totally thinking of something else i thought they had a face on them( just eyes and mouth, not Mickey's face, more like a person with an Mickey ear hat on)

My sister-in-law bought some snack cakes (like Twinkies, brownies and Oatmeal Creme Pies) that were Disney. Cute idea, but very cheesy, because once you open the box there is nothing Disney about them.

My kids would love the ice cream. However, unless a castle pops out of the box when you open it, it's not a Mickey Bar.

Saw those at Hannaford here this morning also, along with the Nemo (orange sherbert and vanilla) and Incredibles bars. I have a little boy's birthday party coming up :mickeybar :cake: and I'm considering stocking up.

The Mickey bars are featured in the Food Network's "Disney Unwrapped" show that will be airing later this month (may 20 and 27).

I got these last week on my regular shopping trip for .98. They had daisy and donald, mickey and minnie, and the princesses. I couldn't believe the price and they were delicous. My kids loved the tattoos.
