Mickey at Ohana's?

I apologize if this has been asked somewhere already, but I can't seem to find it (I'm ashamed...)

Is Mickey usually at the Ohana character breakfast?

We've done Chef Mickey's for so many years now that I haven't been to Ohana's for breakfast since it was Minnie's Menehune Character Breakfast. Sadly, our last trip to Chef Mickey's was nothing short of terrible (service, food, and character timing), and we've decided to drop it from our roster this year.

We always do a character breakfast on our last day, and it's my time to get my picture taken with Mickey (every time I've ever gone). Should I make other plans to see Mickey, or will I be lucky enough to see the Mouse at the Poly?

Well best I can do is quote what's in the Birnbaum guide (and in doing that bump your question up) ... Birnbaum says "Lilo, Stitch and others such as Pluto and Mickey". We'll also be having breakfast at Ohana this trip and haven't been to breakfast at Poly since Minnie's Menehune Breakfast. Have to say tho that we have loved eating at Chef Mickey, Tusker House, Crystal Palace. Just wanted to try something different this trip.

Pluto and Mickey are scheduled to be with Lilo and Stitch BUT they do reserve the right to substitute characters at any dining venue. Breakfast was yummy, BTW!

He was living it up at the breakfast last September when we were there. I would say it's a safe bet! Have fun! Have a big glass of that yummy juice for me!

Mickey was there along with Pluto, Lilo and Stitch when we went in December. This was our second favorite character breakfast of 6. The food and fresh fruit were delicious. Fun atmosphere for the kids. FYI - Tusker House (Mickey was there too!) was our favorite. If you don't have park tickets to try Tusker, definietly give Ohana's Breakfast a try!

We had breakfast at Crystal Palace last summer and at Tusker House the year before (had breakfast at Chef Mickey a couple of times before those). Thought we'd try something different this trip.

You can have breakfast with Mickey at 3 different restaurants currently:

Chef Mickey's
Tusker House
Ohana

I find the character interaction at Ohana and Tusker House to be the most active. They both have parades around the restaurant during your meal. Ohana gets my preference because the food is brought to your table instead of having to get it yourself like at Chef Mickey's and Tusker House.

Garden Grill gets my vote because they bring the food to your table. I guess I'm just lazy, but I hate going back and forth to get food at buffets... Mickey is my favorite character, in case you hadn't guessed.

No characters at the 'Ohana dinner, however there is a Hawaiian entertainer who leads singalongs, coconut races, and teaches the hula to the kids. My daughter loves it!
