Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish Disney Florist

Anyone ever order this from the Disney Florist to have delivered to the room. No price - too late for me to call now - leaving tomorrow. Anyone know how much it is????

Contact a Disney Florist Dream Maker at (407) 827-3505 to find out more about or to order this Magical Celebration.

We called about it a few months back and the price was something close to $300, I think.

Edit: Nevermind...I just noticed the original post was from MONTHS ago, and more specific info has been posted.

We looked at the approx $225 option with a couple of add ons.

if you don't mind me asking how much was the package that you got? Do you have anymore pics?

Wow - that was in January. For some reason $450 is sticking in my head. But, I could be wrong. I do recall them having a smaller one that was about $250 I think.

Ok, so I called and for the big birthday celebration after everything is said and done with fees and tax it is $429.65. I am really thinking about getting this. For everything that you get, it doesn't see to bad. Anybody think I'm crazy? Does anyone have pics of what's inside the boxes?

Just remember that you asked......I think it is a tremendous amount of money to spend for something that you could so on your own with just a little time and much less money. There was an earlier post a few months ago where a parent prepared their own gifts and decorations and just put them out while his son was in the bath that evening.

It wasn't there when he arrived but there is so much to take in when they arrive at Disney I can imagine it worked out well.

Of course if this will "make" your Disney experience I guess you should go for it. Just know that there is some support with being creative and doing things a little more practically.

Enjoy your Disney Magic however you choose!

I actually am reasoning with myself. Trying to talk myself out of it. I keep saying that's almost $500. Crap we could go to mnsshp twice while we're there.

Can someone tell me what kind of "cake" it is inside Minnie's gift?

We might try the smaller and cheaper "Mickey's Birthday Wish" :surfweb:

The "cake" is actually molded chocolate. It comes in its own box. We were able to pack up the box between some clean clothes and take it home.

Unless things have changed since I worked at the Florist (about 3 months ago), you still get the Minnie cake with the smaller Mickey's Birthday Wish package. It just isn't in its own box.

We called, too...and we decided it was just TOO much for us to justify spending.

So, we're putting together something similar for our trip, on our own. We'll have to do the deocrating, wrapping, and staging...so keep that in mind.

I've used the descriptions here as a "guide", but we've swapped out some of the sugary stuff and replaced them with small toys. We're also doing 3 of each present: One for each of our kids (One is having a birthday on the trip, one 2 days after we get home, and we don't want to leave our eldest out so we're "recelebrating" hers, too).

Our costs, so far, are running just around $100. That includes decorations (we bought some "cling" paper for our inkjet printer and are making our own, bringing banners and other stuff, too, which we got pretty cheap), gifts, and the cost of the cake from Disney (about $30, Celebration cake, delivered to our room). No balloons (we're at AKL..they're not allowed). We MIGHT have (we're taking inventory this weekend) another $20 to $30 to spend.

That seemed to be a more economical route for us.

Does anyone know what the cancellation policy is for the Disney Florist? I recently booked the Big Birthday Wish Mickey and Pals for our Sept trip but the more I think about the cost, I'm thinking I may just spend an extra night or 2 at the Polynesian instead!

That's a good Ideal. I am thinking of going this route. I picked up some gift sets and put them up after christmas(tinkerbell, hannah montana) with hairbrushes, mirrors, headbands. I have picked up some lip glosses and a few other things. temp tatoos, glow sticks. I think one day one of us will lag behind and get it together for them. If you had more freedom to swap out items thru the florist we might have been more prone to it. But like the autograph books, my kids have never used them. I'm a scrapbooker and we use cardstock that way i can scrap it. Let me know what else you find.

I posted a response in another thread too....but I purchased the Mickey's Welcome for $200 and added LOTS to it b/c I have a "princess" turning 8 while we're at the Beach Club and a "pirate" turning 5 about 3 wks before we go! I will have a pirate mickey plush, tied to 2 latex mouse ear balloons with an Incredibles Happy Birthday balloon, and a princess minnie plush tied to 2 latex mouse ears and a PRincess HB balloon. Have the 3 mylars that come w/the pkg tied to a snack basket w/character pretzels, sucker bundle, etc. A coloring book for each, got an extra autograph book and pen (tinkerbell/princess) b/c it comes w/just a Mickey one. Also sent some things for each of them from Disneystore.com...sent this to the CM who helped me @ Disney FLorist (Amanda N....AWESOME, can't say enough great things about her). Our total came to about $325 w/delivery (eegads!)

I will post pics after our trip...can't wait to see their faces when we come back that night from DTD!

This is incredible. How did you swing this? did you know exactly what you wanted when you called? I find I get a bit overwhelmed and can't think of what to add/ sub out.
