Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish Disney Florist

WOW! Can we see what was inside? Also I was told you get mickey footprints leading to the room and tinkerbell somewhere on the wall. Is this true?

Can you tell me what was inside the boxes from the characters? Just curious- we will be down in September for my DD's 7th birthday and she'd FLIP for this. :goodvibes

I will try to remember - but I am sure something will be missed. Each box is filled with quality shredding packing. I know not a big thing - but again goes into the quality of the total decoration.

The footprints you mention must be the large Mickey Confetti that was around the room. You can see a green one on top of the pluto box.
The shadow - I looked for it - I can only think that it is the glowing tink ontop of the banner.

Mickey: Inside the box was official Mickey or Minnie ears with my DD name.
He also had the big plush, lanyard, picture and autograph book and big pen outside his box.

Minnie: A birthday cake made completely of chocholate. It was just ok tasting.

Pluto: 4 large cookies. Two paws an two bones. (just ok tasting) and 2 bottels of water.

Goofy: Temp Tattoos, deck playing cards, Lighted necklace, and a card with a phone number to call so Goofy can sing Happy Birthday.

Donald: Large Disney mug, noice makers, personal water mister, water and a surprise which I won't mention but thought it was an awesome touch. Not worth anything - but cute none the less.

The contents of the presents for Goofy, Donald and Pluto have changed since you received the package. They now contain the following:

Goofy: 1 pound bag of Goofy Taffy, Dated Photo Album

Donald: Navy Cinch Sak with Donald on the front, Donald beach towel, Donald's Beak (whistle shaped like a beak on a lanyard), bag of Donald's caramel corn

Pluto: Disney Pets Dog Dish, Disney Pets Placemat, 5 Rice Krispee Treats shaped like dog bones, Human Collar (Pin trader starter set with lanyard and four trading pins)

I wish there was a Princess themed birthday surprise for my DD. She is turning 5 on our trip and this would just blow her away! The FAB 5 is great, but she is total Princess NUT and I'd rather spend the $$$ on Princess themed gifts. :confused3

Hope someone from Disney Florist is watching. This idea would get me out of my "what the heck am I going to do next year issue". I would be purchasing this.

I posted a response in another thread too....but I purchased the Mickey's Welcome for $200 and added LOTS to it b/c I have a "princess" turning 8 while we're at the Beach Club and a "pirate" turning 5 about 3 wks before we go! I will have a pirate mickey plush, tied to 2 latex mouse ear balloons with an Incredibles Happy Birthday balloon, and a princess minnie plush tied to 2 latex mouse ears and a PRincess HB balloon. Have the 3 mylars that come w/the pkg tied to a snack basket w/character pretzels, sucker bundle, etc. A coloring book for each, got an extra autograph book and pen (tinkerbell/princess) b/c it comes w/just a Mickey one. Also sent some things for each of them from Disneystore.com...sent this to the CM who helped me @ Disney FLorist (Amanda N....AWESOME, can't say enough great things about her). Our total came to about $325 w/delivery (eegads!)

I will post pics after our trip...can't wait to see their faces when we come back that night from DTD!

SO how often do you anticipate the contents to change? Is this the first change since the package was introduced? I am just wondering if that is what will be in the boxes in say June?

Thanks OP for the pictures and fantastic description! Love it! I'm still trying to decide between the larger and smaller package.

This was the first change since the package was introduced. I can't say if it will change again. I am not involved in that process.

My husband ordered these for my 40th birthday celebration we spent together down there last October: Roses to Die For - a Haunted Mansion rose bouquet. He ordered them up at the front desk at the Poly the day before I arrived. Disney is the master at providing whatever your heart desires :goodvibes

Hello mdurette !,

I am Dwight. My Mom has Plans On taking me To Walt Disney World for My
31st Birthday ON My Birthday This Coming September, and I wish that I would have found These Pictures Much Earlier. I have been been thinking about Mickey's Birthday Wish from The Disney Florist Like You did for Your DD's 3rd Birthday. My Mom and I will be FLYING to Orlando International Airport via US Airways, BUT US Airways has A Pretty Dicey Luggage and Baggage Policy Now and I am afraid that If I ask My Mom to do this for me and She Does, If The Disney People are able to mail everything home to avoid The Extra Baggage Fees from US Airways?
I wish that I waited until You came with these Pictures of The Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish Package from The Disney Florist That You Have Bought for Your DD's 3rd Birthday, But Your Help with this is EXTREMLY Appreciated.

By The way, Do you have Anymore Pictures of This? I just wanted to know if Your DD Enjoyed It.

Thank you for Your Time !,

- Dwight

Dwight - she absolutley loved it. We put the whole "surprise" on video and she just loves to watch it over and over again.

Sorry - no more pics that I would care to post.

Hey mdurette !,

Are you able to somehow Post that video so that I can see it?

I would certainly like to see this for Myself. I got a little excited:woohoo: but curious reading Your Post.

Did You all have The Disney People Ship any of that Home For You?, And If so, Did They? I am thinking about going for this Myself. I am just worried about The US Airways' Baggage and Luggage Fee Thing.

Thank you !,

- Dwight

Thank you !,

Sorry - can't post the video.

If you are not going to take the boxes home there really isn't a lot to pack. We always bring an small extra piece of luggage to Disney and it all fit. Now, if you want to take home the boxes (which we did because they were so nice). The bottom breaks down and folds fine. The top does not. The "lip" of the top does not break down or fold. Those were a bit tricky - but again we fit in the extra luggage.

mdurette,

That's all right.

Did You all Fly to Disney, Or Drive to Disney?
If you all flew to Disney, Who flew you to Disney?
I am asking these questions to see if My Mom were to do this for me, If
My Mom and I would Have to deal with The Extra Baggage and Luggage Fee from US Airways This September for My 31st Birthday at Walt Disney World.
Air Travel is becoming More of A Challenge to me sometimes Because I have always had A Bit of a Fear of Altitude, and Flight Terbulance.
I just wish that The People who make The Policies for US Airways Flights
did not add Those Extra Baggage and Luggage Fees So Much.

Thank you !,

- Dwight

Wow this is very magical! Has anyone else done something like this or had something customized? Can the gifts be changed at all or they are as is?

Hello all! We leave for WDW in less than a week and my daughter will be turning 9 next Sunday and I ordered this for her birthday. Can't wait to see the look on her face. I'll update everyone with pics when we get back!! I think it will be totally worth the price considering this is also our first trip!!

Hello aliciab121 !,

The anticipation is Building for me. :woohoo:
When You all get The Package, Is There a way that you will be able to take some pictures of The Treats that are in The Packages, once They are opened, so that I have More of a Visual Idea of what this is?

Thank you for Your Time !,

~ Dwight

I ordered mickey's grand welcome for my family july 28th. it is my ds 4, dd2, dniece 17, dsister 27, and dmom ? and myself. It is a little embaressing now but I did some add ons to make sure everyone got stuff along with the large package for the in room celebration I added 2 32" Minnies, another 32"mickey, a 22" Minnie, 5 more personalized mickey blankets, additional mickey hand glove things, 6 starter pin sets, personalized tote bag, and autograph books. I did this over a few months so everyonce and a while I would call and add stuff to my order since I couldn't do it all at once. The CM's were great and so helpful in making sure that it turns out the way I want. I am hoping with all that is in the package I can get away a little cheaper in the parks!!! let's hope. lol. my package came out to a few hundred dollars. But worth it for me, it's been a tough year for all of us. Can't wait to see my kids faces when they see the room!! lol. when we get back I will post pics of the room for everyone :surfweb:
