Mickey and Minnie Help!

So I need some help, right now we have Minnie and Mickey attending in there Yellow formal outfits. I need to decide if I picked the right color.

Here is a picture of what our wedding party should look like, dress colors and styles are exact. My dress is white incase you can't tell from the drawing:

My mom is wearing a long dress that is amethyst, it is a blue base, with pink overlay making it purple. At times it will look pink and blue or purple depending on the light.

So here is my question, do I stick with the Yellow or go with Purple?

Oh and our flowers will be shades of pink, and my flower girl is wearing a white dress with a Fuchsia sash and flower. See my PJ for additional pictures for reference.

I was told they could only guarantee yellow or purple. Any other choice would depend on what was available at the time. Since Minnie tends to send her dresses out to be cleaned regularly ;-)

Is there one that you love? I might put in the request for what you really want then ask for either purple or gold as backup.

I am glad you were given the heads up - we weren't. The characters all showed up in mismatching outfits that weren't what we requested. If I had been told ahead of time they weren't guaranteed I would have been much happier!!

Not really I think that is why I am torn. I am mostly looking for what would look best in our pictures.

If it's between the 2 - I would go with gold - but thats just me.

I can't believe our wedding is just under two weeks away now, man time flew by!

Thanks for your input, but I think I am going to ask about switching to purple. I talked to DF about it last night and his pick was purple.
For the drawing it is on David's Bridal website. You can build your bridal party and I got all the dresses there it worked out well for me to mock up what everyone will look like.

I have to say, I got a kick out of your second picture!

I personally think the purple one just looks better on Minnie in general. I don't know, I was never a fan of the gold one and couldn't believe that so many people chose it. That was definitely the most popular one by far. I think of all the weddings I did, I only saw the purple one used once or twice. It's such a pretty color.

I like the yellow with your colors.
It's more of a yellow than a gold. It does look gold in your picture though.

Thanks everyone, so it seems right now purple is winning by one. I guess I don't feel to bad for debating it in my head, it seems to be close to a split decision. No word yet if I can switch my request, we may just need to wait and see what they are wearing when they show up.

I did at one point, but I can't find it. I wasn't a huge fan of the white attire. It has a feathery/boa type accent. I think of all the formals I've seen for weddings, the purple is my favorite with their Christmas outfits a close second. In real life, the yellow formal is kind of dull looking to be honest.

If you are having your reception at Epcot, you can ask about outfits that correspond to the country. I love the Chinese Mickey, he's absolute adorable.

It cracks me up how once one color gets a little lead the other one comes rushing back to tie it or come within 1. LOL

I ended up emailing my planner to change to purple, and here is her reply:
I’ve changed the request to purple on the BEO. As long as Minnie hasn’t left her purple dress with the cleaners this week, it shouldn’t be a problem Thanks!
