Decided to move into our house, while we were in wdw!
WE'VE GOT MICE! aaagggghhhh
Found droppings, behind cooker and in 2 cupboards..uugghh
Any suggestions??
I'll be phoning the council tomorrow to see if they can put poison down..
Must of been because the house was empty for the 2 weeks and the dog wasnt around...

Jeanette,

The mice poison works well. You can get in in hardware shops, B&Q etc. The problem with traps is that you then have to see and deal with the body (:( )

Your council may be different, but as far as ours is concerned if it's not rats, they aren't interested!!

Good luck!!!!!

You can get mouse friendly traps that allow you to catch the mice and put them back outside!!

The Problem with the posion as well is that you dont know if the mouse has made it outside to die, could leave you with trying to find out where the terrible smell is coming from.

That concerned me too before I bought this but I checked and the stuff basically dehydrates the mice so that there is no smell. It was the only thing that worked for me - the "friendly" traps they sussed out so wouldn't go in them!

I hate mice :( (But I love Mickey!)

I'm sure you'll sort it. We had one that was living in the soil of a potted plant we put down the poison and haven't seen it since.

I know what you mean the only mice we like are ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

I'm going to phone the council in the morning.
I'll let you know what happens!!

so hopefully mickey and friends will be no more..

We had a mouse last year. DH disposed of it with a tradtional trap.

However before that I thought I'd find out more about getting rid of them and as I had a vague memory of another DIS member having problems I decided to search the boards. So I quite innocently typed "mouse" into the DIS search facility - you can guess how many matches I got!!!!
