Notice that this event is scheduled for:
10th, 17th, 24th and 28th October (extra ticket required)
at DLRP.

As I understand it's something that has run at WDW, just wondering if anyone has any info, experience of the evening. If we do arrange a Halloween trip could this be a viable alternative to the Soiree ? which I've been rather put off by the reports of how busy it gets.

Grrrrrr....why didn't they do these last year

If they're anything like the WDW ones, I am sure they will be a great success. :thumbsup2 Jill, I'd choose one of these over the 31st October night party too.

ohhh that interesting,i've read a few bits about this at WDW, but it would be great to have at dlp. I hope they run them next year -i def think i'd go in halloween season if this is on.

OMG - that sounds very interesting. I am trying to persuade DH to go at Halloween and would love to do one of these parties :thumbsup2

Need to get persuading now ;)

Just read that it's aimed at 4-6 year olds and tickets go on sale in May. Hope they give a little bit more information out. :)

Well thats no fun, I cant pretend to be that young :rotfl: it'll be interesitng to see what they do at dlp with this, i believe at wdw they have a special parade, fireworks, some sort of show, and lots and lots of characters.

I went to MNSSHP on October 30, last year.

It rained. A lot. But that's not something Disney could change :)

There was a special parade (well, it ran twice), which was pretty cool, there was HalloWISHES (special version of the fireworks), there was trick or treating (lots of candy for everyone) and there were special photo opportunities (special backdrops)

As far as I remember, there were also "dance parties" (no idea what it was) and some Villain-show (rather small performance on stage in front of the castle)

There was also some event-themed merchandise sold.

Would I do it again? Depends on the price of the USD. If it turns out cheap, probably, if I figure it's expensive, no not really.

I'm not sure this is how the one at DLP will be though.

Thanks for the info Sandra :thumbsup2
Will have to wait and see what kind of lineup is announced, if it is aimed at the youngest fans I doubt my 2 are going to appreciate it much.

Quite actually, if they organise it at night as at WDW, I can't really see how it's aimed at the younger children. Even I was exhausted after it!

if it is going to be at Fantasyland does that mean no extra parade and wishes?

What do DLP usually do for Halloween. Are there any fireworks on the 31st? Or does anyone have any more details about the Halloween party?

Yes, fireworks only on the 31st. There's a review of one year's party in the Trip Reports sticky, I think it's 2004 or 2005.

Just wondered if anyone had heard any more about these MNSSHP's? I have seen them mentioned on a few DLRP sites now but no extra info. We will be there one of the nights they are on. Does this mean the park will close earlier? If so any ideas on by how much?
