Hi everyone! I had a decently productive weekend in regards to wedding planning. Saturday I went and bought 2 dresses (one for my shower and one for the rehearsal) They are slightly fancier than i had intended but i love them!

Where did you get this dress and how much was it? My made of honor is looking for a dress like this. I want her to be able to pick a dress she would wear again.

Hi Janine! I got both dresses at JC Penney for $39 on sale. I believe they were $60 regular price.

OMG we leave 4 weeks from today!!! Today on my train ride into work I made a to do list and a packing list... here is the to do:

put music on iPod
itineraries
welcome packets
wedding party gifts
make final payment to Disney
place cards
start packing things to be shipped to our hotel
start gathering clothes for trip

can anybody think of anything else i should be doing a month out???

YAY!!! I'm so excited for both of us

My list looks about the same as yours, but I also have:

-confirm time, payment, etc with all vendors
-confirm any at home appointments (hair cut and dye, trial, nails, etc)
-travel insurance
-I made sure to already put all important documents together (passports, confirmation numbers for everything)
-arrange to pick up dress (if you don't have it) and make sure everyone else has their wardrobe
-I also made a huge list with EVERYTHING to pack, and will start shopping soon!
-arrange for pet sitter (if you need it)

AHHHHH I can't beleive it is almost here! Yay for us!

Your wedding is so soon! I am actually using the same locations as you and the same bridesmaid dress. My girls did not order there dress is time to get the shoes though and they stopped seling them. My Maid of honor is still looking for a pair though so if you have any girls who wear a size 10 and want to sell thiers after the wedding let me know. Good luck with everything can't wait to see pictures!!

Is the final payment the amount due that's over the minimum? cuz we have to do that too
I think my mom said she was gonna send the check today.

I still have to get place cards too. We're still waiting on more response cards to come in tho', so I really can't do those yet!

Ahhh, I almost forgot to make an appointment for my doggie at the kennel. He's 14.5 years old and hasn't been boarded EVER. So I've been very nervous about this but it's the same place he goes for the vet and groomer so he's familiar with the people and place. Also, I probably should confirm times with Misty and the videographer!

I didn't know you had the same BM dresses and locations. That's cool. I'm not sure of all my ladies shoe sizes but I'll keep my ears open for you!

I've REALLY been procrastinating on the music. It's such a project to do I suppose. The final payment is the amount due that's over the minimum. We have a slight problem though b/c we are UNDER the minimum at the moment and are waiting for suggestions from floral. So right now we just need to pay for the welcome breakfast I believe. We will need to make another payment after we add things. As for placecards, I'm making mine on the computer. Hopefully they will look alright!

Hi! For our ceremony we are doing:
Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for the Prelude while peeps are getting seated

Pachebel's Canon in D for the entering of the families and bridal party (most people do a couple different songs one for the parents, one for the groom and officiant and one for the bridesmaids but Canon in D is plenty long for everyone in our party!)

I'm coming in to Trumpet Voluntary with my dad

then Bach's Ave Maria for the Sand Ceremony

and lastly Mendelsohn's Wedding March as the recessional.

In other news, I think we may have made a decision regarding adding things. This is what we have decided on:
Mickey for the reception
the Pink Rolls!!! (I'm super excited about this even though I think it's somewhat over priced for 5 minutes in a car)
and for the DP, glow sundae bowls, glow 'party passes' (they are custom glow lanyard things), glow spoons, and glow bracelets!

All of that puts at about $130ish over the pretax minimum! wahoo!!! I'm super excited!

Bunchy!!!! so great to see you stop by! I Bach! I'm really excited for the glowy stuff as well. We were going to get these glow tables as well but then i thought that might put us into glow overload!

So this past weekend was my Bachelorette party. It was loads of fun! My sister and our friend Jamie planned it all. We decorated martini glasses. mine looks like a glorified easter egg but whatever, tis the season i suppose! It was lots of fun. I got some really cute things from my friends too!

So I started making playlists on the ipod for our reception. I think i have the misc. dance music playlist done but i still need to do the special dances and dinner playlists!

What else, oh, tomorrow my boss and office mate are throwing me a shower so that's exciting.

Also, I'm thinking of getting a tanning lotion. not one that will make me orange or anything. like the Jergens one that just gradually tans. This way I won't look like a ghost on the wedding day!

I bet you are just thrilled that the date is almost here.

I wanted to give you some tips if you spray tan or use a slow tan enhancer.
Make sure the night before you exfoliate. A few hours before you selftan moisturize your skin. And after you put it on choose your cloths carefully.

I have used Neutogena Sunnless Tanning Micro Mist and it does not have a funny smell like some other sunless tanning sprays or lotions.

I've used the Jergens lotion and it is pretty good, nothing drastic just a hint of color. I agree with JanineBlum though, make sure you exfoliate before you use it. Start a couple of days before and add to it each day until you get the color you like.

Janine and ID ~ thanks for the tips on the lotion. I used it once and had a strange reaction to it on my arms so I decided, I am perfectly content being ghostly white. It's better than being splotchy!

So I have been crazy busy these past couple weeks! We closed on a condo this past Thursday so I've been bringing things over there. I packed up our boxes we are shipping... it will cost me and arm, leg and mickey ear to ship them b/c they are big and heavy but at least I know I won't have to deal with them at the airport! I'm boxing up my dress tonight and then bringing all three to UPS tomorrow! What else??? making the final payment to the videographer today, started packing my checked luggage and carry on. Oh and we received our marriage license in the mail! So happy that's done! Well, I have to get back to work, I just wanted to update a little!

I know! The next few days are just going to FLLYYYY by! I am just so overwehlmed with things to do and trying to keep focused at work. Obviously that's not going to well, b/c here I am on the DIS I checked the weather last night and I can't complain.... low 80s to mid 50s is fine with me!

Hi Joanna! I'm so excited about the glow spoons and bowls! I think they will definitely be a hit! I believe it was you that reccommended NOT going to work the day before I leave.... yeah, I already talked to my boss and asked about maybe taking the day or at least a half day depending on how things go this weekend! Ahhh I only have one more weekend!!!! ok, now the panic is setting in....
