No, you are not the only one. First of all, I am not a fan of the Olympics (as Craig Ferguson said, "If I wanted to see people run around with streamers, I would go to a parade!") and I am definitely not a fan of competitive swimming. IMO, Michael Phelps is overrated and 75% of his fans like him because they think he is cute.

I am not trying to bash anyone...

I was actually over him after the last olympics when he came to my town and got arrested for being drunk in public!!!

I think he was also around the knuckle heads who lit the couch on fire in the dumpster!!!???

sorry to the fans out there! Yes, he is a great athlete but somethings are just too stupid for me to understand!?

lol...college life...but I think I'm jaded from going to one of the biggest party schools in the northeast...that stuff is like a weekly occurence...

saw him swim live in Athens in 2004 and have to say he was pretty darn amazing. I can only imagine what it was like to be there in Beijing! (and no...I'm not saying it b/c I think he's cute... lol...cause I think he's just normal looking)
