Who else is going to be watching?

Not a fan of the man personally, but loved his music so i will be watching.

Quite a few channels are covering it, not sure what one to watch it on yet.

I will watch, - I think I will cry though.

I was watching some of his home videos on you tube the other day and he really was like a child.

I think i may cry aswell. It's going to be sad.

I may have issues with things he may or done in his personal life but a lot of his music hold great memories for me when i was growing up.

Won't bother. Just getting fed up of seeing him in the news and all over the papers.

I still feel incredibly shocked and sad and I probably will watch. If I do, it'll be on Sky News - I'm an addict.

Its on Sky news and Sky arts from 5.30pm, BBC news, BBC2 and channel from 6pm.

I think I'll watch the first half an hour on sky news then switch over to BBC2 as i dont want adverts.

The BBC are broadcasting it on their HD channel for those that have the technology.

I'll record it, then I can choose to watch it when I'm in the mood for it. Stevie Wonder is the must see for me - wonder what he will sing?

I will watch on BBC2 I think ~ can't stand Sky News style of reporting.

I think the show is 90mins long, but who knows what time its due to finish.

I'm gonna try and watch it though I should be getting my online supping delivered between 6-8pm which is grrreeeat timing, lol

I am going to watch it (I may sky+ it & watch tomorrow if hubby is home as I don't think he will want to watch).

I will be Sky+ it on Sky News as that is the only channel to be showing full coverage-mostly only 90mins worth on other channels. Then i will be playing catch up once the girls have gone to bed.I think it will be very upsetting :sad1:.
I entered the 'lottery' to get tickets for the memorial but sadly never got chosen :sad2:.x.

They are now saying that it's a public funeral, not a memorial. The cortege and casket are going to the staples centre.

I think that sounds like a really bad idea but maybe that's just me

I've just heard the Mayor appealing for fans to donate towards the cost of staging the event!

I won't watch it all - the kids wouldn't stand for that but I'm sure there will be highlights on for weeks

That's sought of correct,LA Police Chief has confirmed that his casket will be taken there, after a private memorial at Forest Lawn.Although i am not convinced until i see it for myself, maybe it's a ploy to get people away from the Forest Lawn Cemetary :confused3,so no-one witnesses the private funeral :confused3-or maybe this was the plan all along, and has only been confirmed at the last minute so fans who never got tickets would not make there way down to the Staples Centre+they would'nt have time to make there way there now :confused3.

For anyone interested it is on Sky News now,the cars containing family making there way to the Forest Lawn Park.x.
