Anyone see the interview? What did you think? This guy is just too creapy. Ed Bradley asked the question I was thinking - would you leave your child with a non-related 45 year old man who thinks sleeping with children in the same room is OK? Michael Jackson answered as a parent if he knows the person he would do it. Please! Would you leave your young son with a man who wears more makeup than 99% of women you know? On the one hand I think what were the parents thinking? Maybe it was a setup. On the other hand I don't know if I believe him that nothing happened. Just too weird....

No comment on guilt or innocence (will leave that up to the experts), but I must admit I was amazed that someone with two dislocated shoulders could talk SO much with his hands. Must be that I am a wimp- when I dislocated MY shoulder I screamed in pain if I tried to move a muscle!

I watched it (while working feverishly to deworm my computer). It's really a tough one to call. I think I'll leave it to the court system (which isn't always so great either). He's definitely freaky, but he's also LOADED, and an easy target for money grabbers. So who knows?

Was it just me , or does MJ kind of look like the Joker (as played by Jack Nicholson)?

I just find the whole story very bizarre, creepy and downright frightening. The weird thing is that I think that he honestly believes everything that he is saying. If he did do anything wrong (and I don't know if he did) I don't think he thinks it was wrong.

If anyone else can follow that, I'm amazed.

I think the man(?) needs some intense psychiatric help.

I'll never forget his interview with Oprah some years back. He said "I've never ever had any plastic surgery! That's the craziest thing I've ever heard!"

Uh huh.

I'm waiting for him to trot out his latest "wife." He always gets "married" when the heat is on.

The man is totally obsessed with the thoughts of "childhood." He is creepy and he is scary and I doubt that he would think he was doing anything wrong if he was doing it in a "loving" manner. I would love to ask him what his definition of pedophilia is.

I'm sorry I missed the interview.
He is such a freak!! I agree with JetMom, MJ needs a psych evaluation!!

This man definitely NEEDS help (but I don't think he's going to get it).

IF he is a pedophile, then he needs help and should be locked up.

IF he's NOT guilty, then he needs help because right or wrong, sleeping with children (even if you're not in bed) is just setting yourself up for trouble (Umm...didn't he learn anything last time? It's like someone who is allergic to bee stings deciding to become a bee keeper!).

IF he was manhandled by the police, then he should take legal action (and IF he was, those policemen were dumber than dumb! )

This was my thought exactly. Even in the "Life with Michael Jackson" interview he said he has only had two operations on his nose to help him sing better. Come on!! Since I have seen him lie about that, I have a hard time believing him now.

When I worked with kids, the first thing they taught us was you never put yourself in a position where you are alone with a child. You protect yourself from any accusations that may be made by not giving an opportunity. I think MJ has this attitude that he can do whatever he wants because he is "the king of pop". He didn't protect himself, plain and simple. Whether he is guilty or not, he should have never let himself be in this position.

Is he guilty? Only the courts will determine that and I am sure we do not have all the information but my gut feeling is yes, he's guilty.

DH and I think he may have multiple personalities. He seems to deny things that are obviously true, maybe he sees himself as someone else? That "Michael Jackson" may have had it done but thats a character? Get me? (Maybe I'm just as looney! LOL)

Why would any police force intentionally rough up Michael Jackson? It just sounds ridculous to me. Not sayin they couldn't just saying it would be stupid for them to do some of the things he's mentioning (x: locking him in a feces filled bathroom for 45 minutes)

Anyone else notice how he hesitated when Ed asked him if he'd let his kids sleep in a bed with a man who was accused of being a pedifile?

It is really sad it's come to th is, he was a really good performer.

Wasn't the attorney WITH Michael Jackson as he was booked? I don't believe that the attorney would be asked to leave, but would stay with him through the entire booking procedure. Why is the attorney so silent about the alleged abuse? If the shoulders were dislocated, why was MJ able to raise his arms above his head to make a peace sign? This makes me highly doubtful of the police abuse charges, and makes me think this is a distraction tactic.

I agree that Michael Jackson is most likely mentally ill. I am not sure that, IF he has committed a crime, he understands that he did something wrong. If he did not commit a crime, then he really needs help to understand about NOT putting yourself in compromising situations. Either way, his handlers/entourage need to confront the inappropriate behavior rather than reinforce it. I am not sure that MJ is in control of himself or his own destiny. So tragic, and if only someone had actually cared for MJ and helped him rather than just used him, much of this could have been prevented. Makes me feel very sad for ALL parties involved, especially the children.

I get the feeling that although Michael's lawyers are well-paid, they were banging their heads on concrete walls when Michael insisted on doing this interview. I can't imagine they're happy he did this.
