I agree with Obi on this one, he was a fantastic artist but actual dancer no!
Being an ex professional dancer I can appreciate his moves and syle but one of the greatest dancers of all time.....he is not up there.

Fred, Ginger, Gene Kelly, Carla Fracci, Rudolph Nuriev, Baryshnikov, Margot Fontein,
They were dancers.

He was though a brilliant entertainer and artist back in the day.

He was a musical genious, and has left the music world with some of the best dance, pop records ever recorded. I saw him 4 times in concert and he was outstanding. Sad news to die so young and for his children

The only reason jackson is portraid any different to gary glitter is that Jackson had millions to pay off the parents of children he slept with before it went to court so that teh charges were dropped.
he himself admitted that he slept with them, he did not admit to sexual acts, but a forty year old sleeping with 12 years olds? come on!

But so are Glitter and Phil Spector to various extents. All of them personally flawed individuals.

Those poor children are going to have so much to deal with I hope they are kept well away from vultures and the media reports that are going to be coming with people trying to make a bit of money even if the stories are made up.

With all due respect, I know you have a lot to deal with as a mod and all, but this is a tribute thread to MJ. I don't think it's appropriate for people to be slating him when he's still warm on this thread.

If another was started for MJ haters I wouldn't even look, I'd gladly ignore it.

I also wouldn't be as eager to reply if people actually backed their arguments up with fact instead of calling him things he was found not guilty of.

Unfortunatley Mandy,that is a really hard thing to do if you feel passionatley about someone-as why i believe OP have retaliated on here.x.


I personally have completley bitten my toungue off,wanting to answer back to some of these distasteful comments made.And yes,everyone is entitled to there opinion but i thought this was a thread to remember MJ-and now it has gone a completley different way-such a shame .If people wish to 'bash' MJ then why not make your own thread to do so-why bring it on here for people who have nice things to say about him.
Not that it's going to happen but what if his children were reading this-some of the comments made on here are atrocious+let's not forget-not proven to be true in a court of law-show some respect.

You couldn't refute any of my comments, as mine are facts. He paid off the first boys Father, for the reasons I stated before. He was found not guilty in the second case. Unless you witnessed child abuse happening involving MJ, you have no right, evidence, or justification to accuse him.

My opinion has nothing to do with him being famous. I think OJ was guilty. I don't think MJ was. What's that got to do with him making great music?
