Michael Douglas and Family visit WDW

I didn't think you sounded "hoity toity" at all. I am the same way, maybe I'm just clueless but I don't know if I would notice a celebrity either.

I don't usually comment on other posts but actually I thought the post below was very rude. As my Mom would say "uncalled for".

That's great. If I was in the same situation I wouldn't let cancer keep me from living my life.

My Friend Debbie had Breast Cancer last year, lives in Daytona Beach and went to WDW repeatedly. YOU have to LIVE your Life, when you have Cancer. She did, fought it, and won.

In watching the clip, that one picture of him in profile with the green ballcap on, boy did he look like his daddy.

It doesn't seem that long ago she was pregnant with those kids. How time flies.

And how much do you wanna bet, the CM's in Mickey and Minnie, would have loved to been able to pop off those heads and take a picture as themselves with that family. If I was a CM, I would much rather be one without my head all covered up.

Most of the time celebrities are escorted by the the CM's in the plaid vests. If they were just walking around alone I wouldn't pay them no attention. If they are with an escort it would slightly draw my attention.

Which roller coaster ride was were they on? I couldn't place it. The seats didn't look like EE or BTMRR.

I work in NYC and see celebrities all the time. It's gotten to the point that it doesn't register that they are celebs. We ran into Taylor Lautner one time (standing next to us in line) and my thought was "Oh, there is Taylor Lautner." That was my one and only thought. However, the gaggle of 10 and 12 yo girls with me had different thoughts. Let's just say he is a very nice young man.

So seeing Michael Douglas and family might not have registered with me even if I noticed them. Make sense?

Wow! We were there last week and I didn't see them; although I did see a plaid vest tourguide but didn't really pay any attention to the family that was with her.

Like others, I'm too busy trying to dodge people and seeing the sights so I wouldn't notice a celebrity either. I don't go to WDW with the mindset of "Oh boy! I may see a celebrity!" I go with the mindset of "Oh boy! I'm in Disney World!!!!! "

I was there at WWOHOP that same time-frame, but did not cross paths with them. I thought great the kids in HP attire.

They ate at the restaurant I work at the other night - if I hadn't known they were there, I wouldn't have recognized them at all! They were all very nice

It's probably "Flight of the Hippogriff" at WWOHP considering the son is wearing Gryffindor colors.

My favorite part of the story is that it keeps referring to "Michael Douglas and wife". Like his wife isn't the lovely Catherine Zeta-Jones!

Yeppers, it is for sure ... the picture in the local news showed a lot more background and also identified the attraction.
