I have not read the MIB tips thread posted to the top of the board and just thought I would try without any advice

This attraction is just great and makes Buzz Lightyear's ride look like a patsy (I know Buzz is geared towards kids)

Anyways, my high score of the 4 tries was 226,000 - low score was 44,000

How did I do?

thanks
jaysue

P.S. Does anyone else have the natural tendency to switch the gun from hand to hand depending on your spin and where the ghoolies are?

Also can you shoot at aliens in the other lane or just in your own?

since you are a rookie...226,000 is pretty good! It took my parents and myself over a year to get past 200,000 (we didn't go once a week back then, though...like once every couple months).

You can shoot aliens from both lanes, yes.

I sometimes switch my gun, hand to hand, too. But not too much anymore.

That is an excellent score. Good job! My first few times i rode, I was thrilled with 45,000.

Here's another MIB guide: http://www.meninblack.tk/

I would read MIB999999's guide also before your next trip and compare your score before reading the guides and after reading the guides.

226,000 is VERY GOOD for a rookie.

And you can shoot any alien, as long as you can hit its sensor and the sensor is responding. You can even repeatedly hit the same aliens for massive points.

My highest score mark was just over 700,000 at the bioscan.

I am also a full-fledged MIB Agent, though I wont be working there.

Thanks all for the feedback

DM, that ride was fantastic - the only attraction other than Jaws that was a repeat for me

I have no clue what MIB and Jaws would have in common that would interest me!

(ed) Also thanks for the link to the men in black ride site - I am studying up for this weekend!

:p

Give me a holler, Jaysue, if you want to meet up next weekend. My son, who wrote the MIB guide linked above, would be glad to ride with you and show you all he knows.

Today, he maxed out on one gun before the scan and picked up another gun and got 970,000 on the new gun. His goal is to max out on two guns. I'm not that good! I can't seem to master the red track. I usually get the 9's on the green track but have only gotten all 9's on the red track once.

Hey Phamton: Were you there today because I saw this woman that looked just like you while I was getting off of the ride and she was up at the top of the staircase and then went through the Baby Swap? If it wasn't she surely looked identical to you

I do believe she was. I ran into her husband and sons but mother was not to be found!

I was there today at MIB most of today. Why didn't you stop me and say "Howdy"? I would love to meet you and share a ride on MIB!

Bev

LOL!! I was going to, but then I was like "Oh I don't think that's her" and also I had a GB show to go and catch ;)

And I had to get out of MIB ASAP because I saw someone there I never thought I would have to see again **LOL...Flyfly knows what I'm talking about**

But if I do go again (which, DUH, I will be) I will definitely stop and say "Hi" or "Howdy"..whichever pirate:

Yes, I did and it's really true: He is a seagull.

And his name is "Jonathan Livingston."

Forget something, Bev? :jester:

Well, Mr. Jonathan Livingston Seagull III, you're on the Hall of Fame now.

Woo-hoo!

I tried looking for the ambush window aliens, but couldnt find them! Gonna have to check the site!

Jaysue: We waited at MIB Saturday (the 14th) morning from 9:30-9:45 but missed you. It was kind of funny though as my sons were waiting with us and also some other teens from the DisBoard and IoA Central. My sons and the other teen boys kept walking up to everyone they saw asking "Are you Jason?" It became a mantra for them and later in the day when they were all riding Jaws and they came to the sunk boat, they all started yelling "Jason! Oh my gawd, Jason!"

Well last night we were at mardi gras at universal and they asked everyone in the crowd if they were Jason or if they know Jason. Too funny! But we really do have to meet the famous but elusive Jason someday!
