Can anyone explain to me why it's 42" to ride this? :confused3

My daughter wont be tall enough, luckily she doesn't care about MIB - but I was just curious.

I agree with damo and think it is due to the force of the spins and if they are too small then it would probably throw them out of the car you ride in

Ah, okay. Gotcha.

I'm trying not to read up on the rides too much so everything will be a surprise.

I guess I assumed it was like Buzz Lightyear. :upsidedow

It's 100 times better than Buzz Lightyear! I wish your daughter could ride it! I hope you get the chance to ride it--it's a lot of fun!

It is a matter of that she can slip out of the seat easily, either while its spinning or while it is sitting still. It is a saftey issue. It spins 18rpm (thats pretty fast)

It's also because every rider has an individual ride restraint, where as Buzz has no restraint. That how they can get away with no height requirement.

Buzz's cars are also closed on both sides, where MIB is not. Also, you control the "spinning" in Buzz. On MIB, there's only one sequence where the spinning can be "controlled."
