MIB Alien Attack vs. Buzz Lightyear

I've heard these two rides are similar. So, if we could handle the spinning, etc on Buzz Lightyear, will we be ok on this ride?

the two rides are similar in the fact that you're shooting at targets, but MIB is much bigger and better.

Anyway, unlike Buzz, you dont spin the car yourself, at certain points of the ride, you'll get spun a few times, then several times at the end.

We do Buzz every time we're at MK, but we do MIB many times when we go to Universal. I like Buzz, but I think that MIB is a lot better. The theming of this attraction is terrific. But I do think that the spinning is a little more aggressive if your vehicle get 'hit' in MIB.

oh almost forgot, the best part I like about MIB over MK's Buzz is the guns you can pick up and the trigger isn't on the back of it...MK's Buzz is a pain....I think DL's is better from what I remember

DL's you can take the gun out of the holster but you still have to continually fire, you can't just hold the trigger down. Makes for a very sore forearm by the time the game is over.

I love MIB.
The spinning on MIB is more rougher and you do not control it yourself.
I think you spin when you get hit.lol

MIB is better... tip look for yellow eyes in a window...shoot them and you get a lot of points - my family always wandered why I always won

When you get REALLY good, you'll be able to spot the sensors. Knowing where those are REALLY makes a point difference.

MIB has more aggressive spinning than Buzz, but it's really only once near the end. Unless you get hit by the opposing car, but even then it's not too bad. DH hates rides that spin but he loves MIB and rode it many times. DS was pretty timid about rides, too (last year - this year is a different story) and he also loved MIB.

I agree with the others who think MIB is a superior ride to Buzz - more interesting and challenging. My family agrees, though we all like Buzz, too.

Actually no, there's 3 more times the car spins around before you get to the point where you can shoot the other vehicle

MIB is my all time favorite theme park ride! Now when I ride Buzz Lightyear, it puts me to sleep. No comparison!

As far as the spinning on MIB, it is more intense than Buzz. My DH gets motion sickness and a few times on MIB can do him in.

My 83 year old grandmother rode MIB with us and absolutely loved it. In fact, she still says that that ride was the highlight of the entire trip! And trust me, if she can do it, anyone can do it!
