Miami Transportation?

Anyone have experience with Uber or Lyft down in Miami? We're on the 2/14 Magic sailing and we're planning on using either service to get picked up at the airport and for a pickup after the cruise at the terminal. Is this all doable in Miami? We could arrange a car service if it's the way to go. Thanks for any advice!

We used Uber last February because we stayed at the Hilton the night before. The driver didn't speak English so it was really hard to communicate to him.

We took Uber from our hotel in Dania to POM 2 weeks ago. Easy and cheap. Did not take it from POM because we had an excursion booked in Miami.

We took taxis its a $27 flat rate they had lots readily available no wait

We used Lyft twice in January, from our hotel near the airport to the port and from the port to the car rental center at MIA to pick up the rental car that we drove to Orlando for a post-cruise WDW stay. It cost about $15 plus tip for each trip. Pick-up was straightforward at both our hotel and the port. In 2016 and 2017, we used taxis for these same trips, at about twice the cost.
