I searched the forum, and have a hard time believing this question hasn't been asked, so forgive me in advance if this is a duplicate.

But, in terms of parking options what is the best option for parking, in terms of fee/convenience/etc? We'll be driving in that morning for the departure (December 11th) and out immediately upon return (December 18th).

Any thoughts or advice?

Thanks,

I don't know anything about prices but there definitely is a parking garage at the Port of Miami. I wish I was more helpful.

We parked at the garage at the Port in Miami. Easy, we thought the drop off area was easier than Port Canaveral, the garage is a bit bigger because two cruise lines share it, the elevators are big and easy to catch with your luggage, you pay on the way out, it was $20 a day and they don't charge you the extra day like at Port Canaveral.

Parking at the port is the easiest and well worth the fee. It's about average to PC but I don't remember exactly how much. The port is located Downtown so it's more of a hassle to try and park offsite in my opinion. We live less than 3 miles and still always park at the port when we depart out of Miami.

Just did this for 5 night Magic. $100, we were off ship and in car before 8 am!

We actually had some confusion on which parking garage to use for our Miami cruise last month. There is a long line of ships with parking all along the road. I stressed and parked a bit from the Magic, not knowing if there would actually be parking further down. We had quite a walk with our luggage, only to find there was more parking closer to the ship. I guess I am used to Port Canaveral and the ease of parking there :)

Use the port parking. It's a little more (I think it was $20 per day last year) but safe. If you drive around the port entrance back west, Disney terminal will be on the right. There is parking just up on the left that is official port parking and an easy walk to the terminal.
Other than port parking, everything I read on this site and cruise critic said don't park anywhere else as it isn't safe. I took their word for it and was glad I did.

Yeah, as per @jenpink, make sure you know which parking structure to park in for your terminal. I looked at the port map online. Parking at the port was super duper easy. We'll be doing it again for 2 weeks in May. ;)
