Miami hotel - South Beach or North Beach

Hey budget savvy travelers - we're looking for a decent hotel, preferably with a kitchenette (at least a mini fridge and microwave) for a few nights in Miami. We go down every year, but our usual condo sub-lease isn't available. It doesn't have to be on the water, but it has to be clean, have parking, and be less than $200/night (WAY less!). Any recommendations? TIA

I recommend you stay at the Hollywood Boardwalk area. It's a lovely place. Full of restaurants, beach stores, bike rentals, etc all on the boardwalk along with several hotels.

Thanks for the tip - Hollywood is farther north than we want to be. I used to live down there and went to Hollywood Beach almost every weekend and it was great!

I was able to book an apartment through Airbnb. It looks nice, so hopefully it will be as great as the pictures and reviews say it is
