We finally got to our room about 245. Once we got our negative test results which took 30 min then we waited in line to check in, then walked onboard, were introduced and then directed to another line to ensure we knew how to connect to the app since paper navigators are no longer offered. Even though I told them I knew how to use it, thrre wasn’t any way to avoid that line because then you had to go to the right letter for your safety procedure which consisted of scanning the letter. Quite a process and one that caused a lot of anxiety and unfortunately crabby people.
After waiting in a long sweaty line outside with no masks for almost 2 hours, then going inside where a mask was required to take the test and then wait n a crowded terminal for test results where masks weren’t required. If positive then retested and if positive again then no one in your party is allowed on although by that time about 100 people were in your party because of close proximity for the last few hours and they f course won’t get sick or positive until in the middle of the ocean. Crazy times. But being on a Disney again after 2 1/2 years is worth it…I hope.
By the way if you want a paper navigator ask your room steward. We only brought one phone for my husband and I so the steward is giving him a paper copy everyday that is just for the crew. It is in the tiniest type face but it works. The last time we were on they still offered paper copies at guest services. Not any more.
