MHP dates 2015?

Wondering what your thoughts are on MHP dates for 2015?
Specifically Oct 29th? I can see there was a party on Oct 29 last year (but do they go by the day of the week rather than the date?)
We will have one night in LA on our way over to Orlando thanks to some flight changes and am hopeful we can get to a MHP!

This far out, it's hard to say what DLR is going to do with MHP this year. Historically there have been parties on Friday nights, and Halloween is on a Saturday this year. So, if I had to make a guess right now, I would say it's more likely that the parties will be on the 30th (Fri) and 31st (Sat).

I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog (probably not until July or later) or the HalloweenTime SuperThread for more information as it comes out.

I think it might be a good idea to edit the title of this thread to add a question mark at the end -- otherwise, it looks like you are announcing dates for this year's MHP. We spend a good amount of time in the Superthread every year, explaining that the dates won't come out for a while and when they might come out. I don't want people to get confused! Lol.

I am assuming MHP will happen, and at this point it will probably stay as is without too many changes, but we won't know for sure until the dates come out and information becomes official.

There was one party that did not sell out last year, but that same night (the second party of the season) had sold out in previous years.

It's an interesting point, but even when I've gone to WDW for Halloween, I've never bought my tickets this far in advance. I tend to wait until much closer to the day of the event so that I have a better sense of the weather. There is a risk that they will sell out, but so far it's worked out (I haven't tried going on Halloween night itself).

They did it in 2013, so I could see it happening again this year. Saturday isn't a typical night for MHP, but it seems highly unlikely that they'd skip Halloween itself. So, there is a chance they'd have the party on Thursday and skip Friday, but they may also opt to do consecutive party nights. It'll be interesting to see what happens this year.
