MHP 2015 Uncommon Characters

Greetings:
Has there been any word out yet of any of the rarely seen characters that might be out this year for Mickey's Halloween Party? We're going to the MHP for the first time this year and are wondering which characters that you don't normally see during non MHP days during Halloween time.

Who's been seen in recent years that were surprises. Thanks much.

I don't think we will know for sure what characters will be at MHP this year until we see reports from the first parties, but if anyone knows beforehand it would be Sherry E (source of knowledge of all things DLR ). But if years past are any indication there are a lot of special characters exclusive to the party. The Toontown pre party (open an hour before the official party start time) have the Fab 5 (plus Chip & Dale) in Halloween costumes different from their "normal" Halloween attire. For example, Donald's typical Halloween outfit in the park has traditionally been a pumpkin, but at the pre party he is dressed as a wizard. They all have different outfits that can only be seen at the Toontown pre party. Also, we've seen rare characters such as Clarabelle and Horace here as well.

Over at Rancho del Zocalo, at the end of the trick or treat line, they have had Donald, Goofy, and C&D dressed in pirate outfits (they rotate every 20 min or so). Jack Sparrow has shown up at the Rivers of America dock, as does Captain Hook & Mr Smee, and Peter Pan (they rotate as well).

At Aladdin's oasis, Aladdin in his Prince Ali outfit is there along with Genie and Jasmine (Genie used to be a rare character but he's at DL daily these days).

I haven't been down to Pooh Corner during the party, so someone would need to confirm if the Pooh characters are dressed up in Halloween costumes similar to their WDW counterparts.

When Innoventions was open, you could meet Phineas and Ferb as well as Agent P, but I'm not sure if they will be somewhere else this year.

Finally, the villains last year had a rotation on Main Street. Hades, Jafar, and Dr Facilier were the three that we got that we have only seen at MHP (Maleficent, Evil Queen from Snow White, Queen of Hearts, Cruella, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella were also there, and there were sets of three that rotate every 20 min or so). That said, if there is no Conjure a Villian and no carnival at BTR, who knows how the normal villain meet and greet will work this year during normal park hours.

Since the party doesn't begin until late September, no one will know until then.

We've been talking about MHP all night in the Halloween Time at DLR Superthread, posting updates and links to updates as they've come in. I posted links to the maps with schedules and the list of character meet & greet areas.
