MGM's Who wants to be a Millionaire Question!!

I read (on MGM's brochure) that you couldn't win cash prices from the show, but I heard that you could win other prizes. Has anyone ever seen or heard of anyone winning anything from that attraction at MGM? Thank you I'm looking forward to this one!!!!

I'm sure many people on this board have more info for you. But I've played it several times both at MGM and at DCA and it's a lot of fun! I've gotten in the Hot Seat a few times and yes, you win prizes. Collectable pins, a button, lanyard, hat, polo shirt, and if you get to the Million point level a Disney cruise are all prizes. You can see a lot of this stuff being sold on ebay.

I won a hat(at 1000 points), a nice polo shirt with the millionaire logo, and a lanyard with point pins up to 64,000, plus 15 mins of fame .

I was in the hot seat last Thursday (fun, but nervous!). You win a pin for each level you reach (or up to 1,000 or 32,000 if you fall back to those levels after a miss). At 1,000 points you get a cap and at 32,000 you get a very nice polo shirt. At 1 million, you get a 3-night Disney cruise for four!

I missed the 250,000 point question and fell back to 32,000.

I have been on the hot seat six times and made it past the 32,000 point level four times. At the 1,000 point level you get five pins, a laynard, and a hat. At the 32,000 point level you a nice polo shirt with the WWTBAM-PI logo and five additional pins in addition the prizes at the 1,000 point level.

If you make it to the million point level, you get the following additional prizes, (i) the last five pins, (ii) a three day cruise, (iii) a medal and (iv) a bomber type jacket with the logo on iit. I met a past million point winner on the debate board and actually got together with him and played a few rounds. Jonathon is doing his best to be the first two time million point winner and just missed the million point question on his last trip.

Have fun. This may become your favorite attraction. I was surprised about how much I enjoyed the attraction once I tried it.
