MGM touring plan- can somebody critique please?

We are going to MGM in July - my husband & I and our two kids (10 & 8) We will be at MGM for one day on an early entry day. We don't want to see Tower of Terror or Rock'n RollerCoaster. I have made a touring plan and would be grateful if any of you could critique it. Thanks so much...


1. Muppetvision 3D
2. Great Movie Ride
3. Voyage of the Little Mermaid
4. Magic of Disney Animation Tour
5. Who want's to be a Millionaire
6. Obtain FP for Indiana Jones, then do Playhouse Disney
7. Backlot Theater, then Indiana Jones when able
8. MGM Backlot Tour
9. Go to Al's Toy Barn
10. Honey I shrunk the kids Movie Set Adventure
?????is there are show with this them also??
* Theater of stars in evening if have time

P.M. Brown Derby and Fantasmic

*n.b. we will eat packed lunches while waiting

You left out Star Tours. I would hit that up early since you are not doing any other real rides.

You may want to go to Great Movie Ride first as sometimes it may have a line. Then Star Tours then the Muppets.

There is no show with the Honey I shurnk the kids movie set adventure. It is just a playground.

Just a suggestion. Your kids are the perfect age for the Rocking Roller Coaster if they are tall enough. They would probaly love it as it is such any easy coaster and not scary unlike Space Mountain. My sister is 10 and she loves it. She has rode RnR since she was 7.

Thanks for your feedback, I am glad you mentioned that we should do the Great Movie Ride first. I was under the impression that the muppets was more difficult to see without waits unless done early on. As for the other two rides,My daughter and I have weak stomachs and I dont think my son is up to big rollercoaster's yet. The UG said star tours has a motion sickness warning, as I have heard many people on the boards comment to this effect. As for R&R, it describes it as for fans of cutting edge thrill rides - sounds too cutting edge for me/us!! We will be going to MK the following day, so I figured we'd get our amusement type rides in then. Thanks again, it's always good to get input from people who have been.....

JUST A SUGGESTION... I HATE THRILL RIDES IN GENERAL AND AM TERRIFIED OF ROLLER COASTERS... YET I LOVE RNRC. IT'S INDOORS SO YOU CAN'T SEE HOW HIGH YOU ARE, THERE IS AN INVERSION BUT IT'S OVER SO QUICK YOU HARDLY NOTICE. TRY IT... IT MAY BECOME YOUR FAVORITE.

I ALSO GET VERY MOTION SICK... CAN'T EVEN SIT IN A ROCKING CHAIR FOR LONG..I DID STAR TOURS AND WAS OK.

ENJOY MGM...IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARKS!!

..;;Pooh...you've almost convinced me, that we should give it a try!! BTW, we love pooh also, and are doing our character lunch at Crystal Palace - have you done this one?? Well back to our original topic, I have one additional question re: the R&Rride -
My daughter (10) has a heart condition - nothing terribly serious, but still enough to warrant cautiousness - would you say this ride is inappropriate ie. does it have the warnings like space mountain?? We have a cardiology apt. prior to our departure, just to make certain what our restrictions should be, however, just curious if there are restricitons posted on this ride??
