When I was there last I noticed boats from MGM that supposedly go from MGM to the ressorts at Epcot.

Is this a good solution to take the boat to International Gateway, for dinner ADRs at Epcot? I am trying to save time getting there since when I took the busses last time, I had to wait for 45 minutes.

Please share your experiences.

FYI - I will be going in early October.

Those boats do go from MGM to Epcot - but it's not exactly speedy as you have to stop to load/unload at the Swan/Dolphin, and the Beach/Yacht Club and the Boardwalk boat docks too before going on to Epcot. It's a fun and pretty trip though!

There's also a walkway that goes beside the water and you can walk from MGM to the Boardwalk then on to Epcot, but that takes a little while too (20 mins?).

It's a 30 minute trip from MGM to Epcot via the Friendship Boats. Might be a bit slower than walking, but much more relaxing :)

Wow, never noticed these walkways! How FUN! Thank for the tip. Day at EPCOT, dinner at 50PTC! :thumbsup2

When my family and I stayed at the Dolphin, we took the boats, but mostly when it was raining. I much preferred walking though...it's more relaxing breathing in that Disney air instead of sitting on a stuffy boat with crying children :cheer2:

I would think twice before attempting to walk the whole way between the 2 parks, ESPECIALLY an a HOT day!! EPCOT to the Boardwalk or the Yacht and Beach club is a pretty short walk but from the boardwalk to MGM is a good distance.I've walked it several times and won't do it on a hot day again.
