MGM to Disney travel time???

Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get from MGM to Disney? We will be at MGM, but have dinner resv. at Cindy's ( I had to take what I could get...... LOL) anyway, after dinner DH is wanting to go back to MGM for EMH's. So, what is the travel time to and from? We basically need to know what time we need to leave MGM for a 5:55 ADR at Cindy's.



** Just to explain, we had already made our touring plan, and booked ADR's accordingly, however, last week, we decided to go ahead and try to get Cindy's before the changes take affect........ anyway, we have to do it this way, or our entire plans get messed up.......... and we all know how hard it is to change ADR's............

Zero time if you are MGM you are in Disney

They always say plan for 1hour to park hop so to be safe I would plan on leaving MGM about a hour or so before you have to be a Magic Kingdom for CRT.

Yes, I know, Disney is all encompassing.......... I really didn't think I needed to be that specific........... thought everyone would understand what I meant!!!

Yes, I think an hour would be enough time.

And when you say Disney and mean MK, it can actually get to be confusing. I'm used to hearing it and knowing what people mean, but then people start calling UA/IOA Disney (or MGM) and whatnot, and you just aren't sure! In your case I think it was just a reminder that MGM is in Walt Disney World and is a park just like the MK is. No worries.

I'm not sure there is a bus from the Studios to the MK. When my DS and I wanted to go from the MK to the AK this past June we could not find any buses to the other theme parks from the MK. We ended up taking the short walk to the Contemporary and taking the bus to AK from there.
You might have to take a bus from the Stuios to one of the MK resorts and monorail over to the MK (or walk from the Contemporary).

There are park to park buses at all parks. The OP will be able to catch a MK bus at the regular MGM bus stop area. However to return she will have to make her way to the TTC for the MGM bus. From MK the MGM bus and the AK bus, as well as, the Epcot monorail are all caught from the TTC. Of course, sometimes its easier to simply travel (like walking or riding the monorail) to the Contemporary and catchingA the bus to MGM or AK there.
