MGM Stars & Motor Cars parade ?...

If there are Star Wars characters in the parade even when it is NOT the Star Tours wkend is going on?
I saw some of the characters in someone's pics of the parade and was wondering if they are in the parade regardless of the Star Tours deal.

Yes there is a Star Wars car that has Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia in it. R2D2 is also there and sometimes Darth Vader!

During non-SWW parades, there will be a float with Star Wars characters whereas during SWW, the parade is dominated by Star Wars characters

Thanks for asking the question, loveBond. We last visited in December and our son was looking forward to the Star Wars characters in the parade. Unfortunately they were doing the holiday version of the parade, and the Star Wars car got the boot. There was one pretty disappointed 3-year old that afternoon. Glad to know that he'll get to see them in a couple of weeks.
