I was at the world last week and was so disappointed with the back lot tour. When I got off the ride I spoke to a CM and she told me the sad story. Yes its true they bull dozed residential street down to make room for a new attraction opening in 2005. A stadium seating show with water stunts....but what about the golden girls house and the westons house and the osbourn lights....gone she said and after January 1 you wont even be able to go out to catastrify cannon. (I am a bad speller and to lazy to look that word up but you get the picture ) The gift shop was downsized already and that is a bad sign she said. She was a recent hire and told me that this attraction had a waiting list to work at but she was put there as nobody wants to work there as it is dead. I had to laugh as i always thought you should be able to walk on Residential Street and hoped that one day you could ,,,huh now its gone. She also told me that the comments made by the guests are all so sad some people even have cried.
