Typically, dinner is in the Western scene. They were willing to work with us on this, but in the end we decided that their standard way of doing things was best.
We had pre-reception in Gangster, dinner in Western, cake in Oz, and dancing in "the black box."

Our ceremony was at SBP at 6 p.m. It's a long story... we ended up having to change everything two weeks before the wedding (including making the wedding one day earlier), so we actually had an additional cocktail hour on the lawn in front of SBP before we could go to MGM. A 7 p.m. ceremony would have been ideal, but Rev. Jack had a 7 p.m. wedding already booked.
Keep in mind that you have to wait 1.5 hours after MGM closes to get in.
