Does the Stars & Motor Cars Parade Start on Hollywood Blvd & End by Star Tours or is it the opposite way.

I need to leave right after the parade so, I need to sit near the entrance & I hoping it also starts near the entrance.

Thanks for the help!
Katie

I've always seen it start by Star Tours and then go down Hollywood Boulevard and then end at the park entrance. I hope all your plans still work out. :(

MamaKate - last summer the parade started in the back of the park and came down Hollywood Blvd - it turns to the left at the corner. Wanted to share the great spot we watched from there - right in front of the kiosk in the middle of the street at the main entrance- if you look down you will see a metal line embedded in the cement - that is where the ropes go when the parade starts, so if you position your toes right behind the line while waiting you'll have a great view of the parade coming towards you and then turning - the CMs pointed the line out to me - just be aware that I watched a family come right before they put the ropes up and stand in front of a family holding the 'line' spot - when the CMs told them to move, they backed up right into the family behind them and literally pushed them back  - I couldn't believe the first family didn't hold their ground and make them get behind them - I think they were taken off guard that someone would be so rude! At the end of the parade we got out quickly.

We have had the experience, where DH will sit for over an hour so we can get a good spot, then someone squeezes innext tous. Next thing you know that are bring 6 or 7 kids. Then they look at you like you are invading their space.

A couple of weeks ago we walked right up to the place where the parade started (by Star Tours) about 5 minutes before it started. There were people in front of us, but most of them children and it was very easy to see everything. People were very nice about letting children move to the front.

It was a very relaxing way to see a parade, very civilized crowd behavior.

Thanks everyone for the help!

I'm sorry to hear in doesn't start at the front, but I think will still be able to squeeze it in.

I plan on going to MGM on 12/12 & the parade starts at 2:30. I need to be at Epcot by 4:00 for our Candlelight Processional package.

Do you think I'll have time to watch the parade near the entrance, hop on the boat to Epcot and make it the American Pavillion by 4:30 (It starts at 5:00)???

How long is the parade and about what time does it make it to the front of the park?

If you have any suggestions or don't think this is feasible, please let me know??

Thanks!
Katie
