MGM: Parade/ Mama Melrose ADR?

We will only be at MGM one day this trip. I'd love my kids to see the parade this year. I was just wondering if you thought we'd be able to do the parade and then still get to are 4:50 ADR at Mama Melrose? Does anyone have a suggestion of where to view the parade with this in mind. I'm not as familiar with MGM since I've only spent a few 1/2 days there and we still haven't done everything. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on when you're going...we have a 4:50 Mama Melrose reservation in August, but the Parade is at 5:30. So our challenge is to eat and get to the parade, rather than the other way around. (I don't think we're going to try, though...if it happens, it happens.)

Watch it over by "Star Tours" and Mama Melroses' will be over past the Muppets' Theater.
