I was wondering what most people like best between MGM and Magic Kingdom. I know they both are my two favorite parks. I love MGM because of The Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster, of course! But I also love Magic Kingdom because it is where Cinderella's castle is and Splash Mountain and Space Mountain and it just feels magical! I guess I'm undecided!!message

Well, I'm a newbie, not an expert, but I'd vote for whichever park you're the least familiar with. Dh and I get into a rut of repeating parks, restaurants and hotels because we're familiar with them or we want to relive the magic, but nothing compares to seeing or trying something for the first time, so now I've decided to make sure we do as much new stuff as possible, and trust that there's really nothing at Disney that disappoints us, lol. I'm the type who enjoys the planning almost as much as the doing, so I hope this makes sense!

I check the weather report. Whichever park has a less favorable forecast later on in the week gets my vote. I plan certain parks for certain days, and if there are "extra" days to visit (more than 4 for me), then weather is the tiebreaker. If I only planned one day for MGM, and there is rain forecast, I'll go a different day in advance to make sure it isn't missed because of weather.

MK definitely is more magical. It's the heart and soul of WDW. All of the classic stories are there.

MGM is more thrilling with its 1-2 punch, but quickly goes down to "spectatorship" after that. You don't get quite as involved in the rides at MGM as MK. MK has more to do, I think. MGM has longer attractions. MK takes more physically to do. MGM is more relaxing in that you do a lot more sitting.
