We are planning our 1st Disney Trip May 04. I would like to know how you get tickets for MGM live shows, in particular Beauty & the Beast.

No tickets, you just show up (theaters generally open around 30 minutes early) and go in and pick your seat! Sometimes they can get very crowded very fast, so you might want to see when the theater opens and show up about five or ten minutes before that.

On a side note - I absolutely - positively thought the lead in group for Beauty and the Beast (4 for a dollar) were A++, two thumbs up - not to be missed! They are an ac capella quartet and they are just SOOO awesome! I even bought their CD!

(In case you missed it, I really liked them!)

Beauty & the Beast is one of my favorites! It is a beautiful show.
Just check the daily schedule for times and get there 1/2hr before show. With the pre-show entertainment the wait is not that long. I do not think there is a bad seat in the house.

I have to admit the musical group 4 for a $1 - they had me going. I totally fell for the "mike check" and they were great. Even my baby was clapping along.

Also, be sure to see the "Voyage of the Little Mermaid" it is really worth seeing.

Some of the shows have fast passes, so check that out. Also, some shows are limited on what times of day they are performed. Some have the last showing of the day at 3 p.m., while others have the first showing at 12:45 p.m. I think it varies by the time of year, so check out show times before you leave. If it's not on this site, check the official WDW site, or the MGM site by Matt.
