Itinerary for this Sat (Oct 15th):
Times based on Steve Soares' website:

Arrive at 3:30pm
Grab Fast Pass for Little Mermaid.
Try to get a seat on the half walls by the celeb heads outside of Sounds Dangerous.
Parade 4pm
Am I better off getting a spot near Sunset Blvd to be closer to Beauty & The Beast?
Beauty & The Beast 4:45pm - 5:15pm
Is Beauty usually on time?
Playhouse Disney 5:30pm - 5:50pm
Is there usually a line for this or can we get right in after Beauty?
Little Mermaid 6ish, last show is 6:55pm
Then grab something at Sunset Ranch (probably Rosies or Eddies & Anaheim Produce). Take to theater & eat while we wait for Fantasmic.

All we want to see is the parade, Mermaid, Playhouse & Beauty. Can it be done? Or will we be running too much?

Thanks for the advice!

I think you would get more help if you used less abbreviations. I usually catch on to abbreviations pretty quickly, but your post made me have to sit and think about a few of them.

Not trying to be rude, but a lot of people don't like to give help unless it is "easy" for them.

Funny -- same thought exactly. I thought, "I know what a parade is, and I know what Sounds Dangerous is, but the rest of it requires way too much thinking." I still can't figure out VotLM, and I've been to MGM a bunch of times.

Is it the Little Mermaid Show?

What's PHD?

VotLM...Voyage of the Little Mermaid
PHD...Playhouse Disney

Oooooh. this is sort of fun!! Bring it on!!

Ooops, sorry about that! I'm lazy I guess!!
VotLM is Voyage of the Little Mermaid
PHD is Playhouse Disney
B&TB is Beauty & the Beast
I ALMOST wrote S&MC for Starts & Motor Cars :teeth: but it took me to long to figure out the abbreviation!!
I'll go back & edit my original message to help others who are trying to help me!!

:rotfl:

When you get used to reading and writing the abbreviations it's easy, but I'm out of practice.

I think you might be trying to pack a bit too much into too short a period of time. It takes awhile to walk from place to place, and that time varies greatly depending on the crowd. But, heck, you might as well try as long as you know what your priorities are and are ready to be fliexible if one of more of the items on your list doesn't pan out. Good luck!

I actually think you could get it done pretty easily, with the only real rush being making it from Beauty and the Beast to Playhouse Disney.

Have Fun & do not miss Fantasmic!!

We just got back on the 7th and IMO the FP for shows is not worth going to get. You still have to wait until the next show starts. While it was busier than I thought it was going to be, MGM was the least crowded park we went to and none of the shows were too full that we had to come back for the next one.

I think you should be ok. Crowds get weird after the parades, and 4:45 is a little tight for beauty, but I think you should be fine. I think the only touchy one is Beauty to Playhouse, if Playhouse is full. Fastpass might be gone when you arrive at 3:30, but you still are leaving plenty of time for the mermaid show even if you don't get a fastpass.

MGM is the right park to try something like this -- small enough. Depending on what day you're going, though, it's tough to move anywhere right before or after the parade, particularly with a stroller.

You will have no problems You're not asking for too much at all- VOTLM is not that busy before noon anyways, so you may not even need a FP. You can use as many abbreviations as you'd like with me - I'm pretty well-versed ;)
