MGM as i call it ......... idea

this is where i want to hear what your fav thing in mgm is

it could be anywhere from, a fav ride, to a fav food place, to just relaxing in a fav spot,

cant wait to hear what you think popcorn::

btw, my fav thing in mgm is rock in roller coster

TOWER OF TERROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE roller coasters! I went to Disney with the family for the first time last year (been 3 times since) and I always go to six flags, so I was thinking Disney was going to be a bummer cuz they wouldnt have any rollercoasters, or thrillers, but I was wrong! I also Love Rockin Roller coaster, which is basically identical to California scream, except for the indoor/outdoor thing, and the overall theme hehe
also 50s Prime time! Love the Peanut butter and jelly shakes, even tho i dont like regular pb&j. :confused3

Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster! Oh yeah, and Star Tours. To be honest, I don't really like MGM (it will always be MGM to me!) that much.
I have to have to have to get a Mickey Bar in that park though, it's like tradition.

ToT and TSM. Best rides in the park. Oh and Lights, Motors Action looks awesome. Haven't gotten to see it yet though.

And on an opposite note, I HATE the sorcerer hat.

I love the sorcerer hat! It's so majestic. Anyways, my favorite thing is definitely the Tower of Terror, but for some reason Mickey Bars always are better there... it just seems more like a Mickey Bar park! KWIM?

I still call it MGM too. I called it MGM while I was there and one of the cast members corrected me and I said no, I'll always call it MGM.

I love riding Tower of Terror while most of the people in the park are at Fantasmic.. I once rode 5 times in a row with no wait for any of them.

So their are rumors that the Sorcerer hat is on it's way out. Crossing fingers that they are true!

As part of today's 20th birthday event at the Studios, guests got to hear from senior members of Imagineering, including Bob Weis. (Bob was one of the key imagineers who originally created the studios). Most interestingly, he showed a photo looking along Hollywood Blvd towards the Chinese Theater prior to the hat install. He made comment that this view can't be had now, but MAY be had again in the future (sorry don't have the exact quote, no recording was allowed). This was met with huge applause from the gathered crowd, and lots of laughs from all three of the Imagineers. Bob in particular had the look of knowing something we don't. The hat was brought up a couple of times, and again, all three Imagineers laughed about it, and seemed to fully understand how it's not particularly liked by the fans. It may well be that too much is being read into this, but certainly today you could walk away with the impression that the hat is going to be removed.

Tower of Terror!!!!
I also like The Great Movie Ride and Rock n' Roller Coaster.

It's my least favorite park, but Sci-Fi Dine-In or Tower of Terror =D

or the 50's Primetime Diner... We had a great dinner there last year!

For the 20th Anniversay they had some Imagineers answer questions about the park and they said that they may remove the hat but it may return someway in some point in time. No recording was allowed so there is no direct quote from the Imagineers but that's what they said according to reliable sources. Honestly, I would love to see it go. It obstructs what was originally meant to be the parks icon and doesn't feel right with the direction WDI is taking the park's theme to.

I could ride Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coster all day and be perfectly happy. :goodvibes

It used to be MGM to me too, but after calling it DHS for so long, I just naturally call it the studios now. Everyone who knows me KNOWS I'm all about Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. I am such an Aerosmith fan and thrill fan. Need I say more? lol. But I also love the Magic of Disney Animation...I love doing the drawing class :) As for food? 50's Prime Time Cafe. Definitely. Even though the merchandise is generally the same everywhere on Disney property, I somehow love the shopping in DHS more than anywhere. Oh!! And I love Block Party Bash. It's such a fun parade!
