MGM Grand

I'm going to Las Vegas Sept. 2-4 for a really quick trip and got a great rate for MGM Grand so I am staying there. How are the rooms?

I have stayed at the MGM and loved it! The rooms are basic, but acceptable. Standard bathroom, no fancy soaking tub. Main part had a bed, sofa under the window and armoire with TV. Decor was trying for art deco but didn't quite make it.

But we don't spend a lot of time in the room, so basic is just fine with us. I like their casino, we saw the Cirque du Soleil show "KA" there, and enjoyed the restaurants. There is a Mexican restaurant (don't remember the name" with fabulous margaritas! Food was good too.

I would certainly go back, especially with a great room rate.

Ask for a room close to an elevator. The MGM Grand is huge; it is the biggest hotel in the world, over 5,000 rooms.
