MGM future attraction ?

We were just looking at an map of MGM we got from March 2004 and at the top, next to the Backlot Tour, it says " future attraction site coming in 2005". Does anyone know what that is?

i just unpacked my MGM map....literally. we just came home. our map says " Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show COMING IN 2005" doesn't say what month, but sounds like a show (of course) that involves cars....my son will love it!! we are going to MGM next year (either late spring or early summer)....hope it's open then!!!

The car stunt show thingie will be opened in 2005.

It should be the same show that is at the Movie Studios at Disneyland Paris.

If you go to DPs web-site you can check out the blurb on their show as it should be the same thing.

We just went on the Backlot Tour this past Saturday. They now explain what the new construction is. It is indeed "Lights, Motors, Action!" They say that it is "based on" the stunt show in Paris.

In the "costuming" tunnel they have some motorcycles and cars that will be used for the show. Also, outside at the beginning of the tour, there was a truck with a flatbed trailer carrying two of the little black cars (covered). WDWMagic says they are GM cars. They are cool looking, but tiny!

Most of the custstructions appears to be done. In fact, I do not think they'd get this many cars in, if there was still a lot of construction left.

I would guess that soon, they will be working on the show, rather than the venue.

going to MGM next year.....cannot wait for this show to open. ds is 5 and 1/2 and an absolute car fanatic!!!! his passion is not sports or super heroes, but cars (& anything with wheels!) if anyone finds a time this will be open, please post.....would like to be sure it's open when we go.
