My kids are 2 and 4 and they loved both parks- of course we stayed with things geared toward them. At MGM we walked in to find Piglet and Eeyore posing for pictures and signing autographs under the hat. They loved the Playhouse Disney show, Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, Muppet 3-D movie and character greeting with Jojo and Goliath and Buzz and Woody. At Epcot they LOVED Turtle Talk with Crush, World of Imagination, Characters in World Showcase and the Epcot Character Connection. I hope this helps your planning! :goodvibes

At Epcot, my 5 year old son LOVED Test Track, Journey into Imagination, Ellen's Energy Adventure (he loves dinosaurs), and Turtle Talk with Crush. My 2.5 year old liked Crush and Imagination, but overall I don't recall her being very impressed with Epcot (please not that we didn't make it back into World Showcase).

At MGM, it was my 2.5 year old daughter who LOVED Playhouse Disney. They both enjoyed Muppetvision 3-D. And my 5 year old STILL (from May) talks about how great Star Tours is.

As a grown up, of course I'd enjoy stuff like Test Track and Star Tours, but Turtle Talk with Crush was just absolutely amazing. And Muppetvision 3-D was SOOO funny, my wife and I had such a good time in there -- it has characters from the old Muppet Show.

My kids love MGM for the Power Rangers meet and greet I think thats their favorite. But they love all the parks.

in 2001 i took my boys (4 and 5 at time and they loved it a lot. We are going back in April and both are very excited. the only bad thing is they don't remember very much of the trip so take a lot of pictures

DDs were 2 and 4 at travel time and they loved MGM- Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid, Muppets were big hits, DD 4 did Star tours and liked it they also liked seeing many characters and they liked tha parade there the best!

MGM definitely has some great choices for preschool age as the other posters mentioned.

At Epcot, the World Showcase is more geared towards adults. But they do have a few rides to make it more interesting for the younger crowd. ALSO, be sure to have the kids do the Kidcot Funstops at each country! It makes it much more fun for them, and it's great to be able to talk to a person from their country. They will make a mask that has a handle and at each country, it will get a stamp on the handle.

Also, I would highly recommend buying the passport which can be bought for $10 at any of the stands. It has a page for each country, and then a sheet of stickers for each country. The cast members at the funstop will write a message on the page - at Japan, they wrote DD's name in Japanese, which was WAY cool for us (since my husband is 1/2 Japanese and we just love the culture). And at each Funstop the kids can color their mask some more, and we would also have DD put the stickers on the passport page for the country that we were visiting. Our DD is 3.5 and she LOVED it.

The last time we were down that way my boys were 22 months and 3 1/2 yrs.

They liked MGM, but we only stayed for half of the day. My youngest won't sit still for many shows and they weren't tall enough to ride the rides. They both loved Playhouse Disney and getting to meet all of the characters that we saw. If anything it was nice just to stroll around and relax for a bit.

Suprisingly they both loved Epcot more than any other park. My 3 1/2 year old still totes around the mask he made in World Showcase and he constantly tells me all about his trip "around the world". I was expecting the baby to be cranky, but he really enjoyed the interactive stuff. Plus they both love to eat so they were in heaven. We were there for 5 days and we spent more time at Epcot than anywhere else.

Our 3.5 yo LOVED MGM, esp. all the shows. She did not like Epcot, she liked The Living Seas and Soarin' but thats about all. The Kidcot stops are neat. I guess maybe we were in a rush that day, If we would have had more time, i think we would have ALL enjoyed it more. But Of course MK she loved and AK she really loved, she liked how they gave her "maps" to search for the animals...my dd is a little explorer she did this at home before our trip as well..so this really fit her style.
Have fun!

My 3.5 year old son loved MGM. It has been over a year and he still talks about it. Between the Playhouse Disney, the Little Mermaid, and Muppet 3-D Show he had a blast. He also really enjoyed the afternoon parade.

Epcot was another story because I wanted to look at the World Showcase and Dh and older dd just wanted to hit Mission Space and Test Track. I took my younger ones back to the hotel to swim. I figured there would be other trips and I was right.

My daughter is 5 now and has been to WDW each year so far.

At MGM, my daughter loves Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid, the Animation Tour, Muppet Vision 3D, Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast & Fantasmic. The parade is fun and full of characters, too.

At Epcot, she loved world showcase because we tried different foods at each country and she loved the Kidcot stations where she made her mask. She also really loves Spaceship Earth, The Living Seas, Imagination and Listen to the Land boat ride and Lion King movie in the land.

DD 3 loved MGM, the shows etc.

Epoct she loved soarin and test track (future world)

We have renamed the world showcase though...crying around the world.

She was such a stinker..the only amazing thing for her...Mulan.

We were there last Oct. and mine were 5 and 3 and we loved MGM. I thought we'd like it, stay a while and go home and rest before dinner but we ended up getting there early (EMH) staying all day, and watching the 4pmish parade then going straight to Epcot for dinner. We loved it! The kids loved the shows. We didn't really ride any rides, but we went from show to show. We did ride the Great Movie ride and DH and DS did TOT, but other than that we had a full day of shows. They both loved Beauty and the Beast, LOVED Playhouse Disney, the older one liked the Lights Sounds Motor one, Mermaid terrified the younger one, the older one and dad enjoyed Star Tours. We had a great day there, looking forward to going again and seeing the shows we missed!
