MGM early closure on Sat. June 25th?

I have been reading for quite a while in various places that MGM close at 7PM on Sat June 25th. Does anyone know why (I haven't seen the answer to that anywhere). Does that mean that they will stop the rides at 7PM or that they will stop before then to have people out of the partk by 7 PM. We're only at WDW for the weekend and am trying to make a touring plan that works inspite of the early closing time on the 25th.

My guess is that they have "rented" out MGM to some corporation/company for the evening for a private event. I attended a users conference for the software that we use at work at The Dolphin a few years ago. One evening we had exclusive use of MGM (with ~ 10 attractions open). It was pretty cool.

I posted this a long time ago, probably too early for anyone to notice, but it is for Pampered Chef. It's a private party. I went to a friend's party and the PC lady told me she was going to Disney because she won a trip and they were closing MGM early that night...the 25th. Others could buy into the trip so I'm sure there are tons of them if they have the park that night.

How does the early closure work for getting people out of the park? Do they stop the rides at 7:00 or do they stop them earlier so everyone is out of the park by 7:00?

Just wanted to confirm that it is for Pampered Chef...I am going! I have no idea how it works, but I imagine that it will be similar to clearing MK for MVMCP and stuff. Maybe the attendees of the event get wristbands or something like EMH nights? Not really sure at this point.
